@@Oceans780 thanks for sharing your memories. I think it's technically a village but goes by "Devon" by everyone that lives here. It has changed even in the last 5 years but they are really building it up and making it a beachside destination

Best part about Devon is that I live there and I am a very cool guy. Great place to live. I feel as if the small neighborhoods have lost their charm due to modern housing being constructed and also because most of the old people who lived there are moving away. My favorite place is wildemere beach. There you will find me hanging around, digging in the sand, playing in the water. That beach is my territory 😎. It is still such a shame that the neighborhoods are not the same.

I have spent most of my life in Milford along with my family going back to the 1700's. My Mom and Dad grew up in the Devon Rivercliff area and there is no waterfront in Devon other that the Housatonic River. The area of Devon goes from the east area on Bridgeport Ave just past Landsdale Ave to the Housatonic River on the west. From the railroad bridge on Naugatuck Ave, North to a small bridge where Naugatuck Ave crosses over where the new Firehouse is. It never went to the Walnut beach. The area that you show in your video as Devon beach area is laurel beach

Walnut beach is not in Devon. Milford Ice pavilion is not in Devon either. Border stops at Landsdale

@Mike Clark thank you for the clarification. I was getting conflicting information on where the line was. I feel like everyone has a different opinion. I tried my best to show all the amazing things going on in the area. I love Devon and all of Milford. Want to always show all the great things going on here.

@@connecticutcoastallife No Problem....according to just about every Devon old timer I've spoken to, the borders of Devon are as follow. Landsdale to the east, bridge going over the rail tracks on Naugatuck Ave. to the north, Housatonic river to the west, and VFW on Naugatuck Ave. to the south.

Having lived in Milford over 80 years I assure you that you are correct in your borders of Devon.
