Ok ladies I went back to watch a few episodes tonight…I think Mama Shay is so right! Sydney felt planted. The night Medina mentioned the situation to Joey on the group date, when she gets up and walks away, she was smiling somewhat uncomfortably. Then, she comes back to tell everyone she’s leaving. Felt a little contrived. I would find it hard to keep it together and not laugh at that situation too! 😂 I’m probably just looking for it, but it feels true after rewatching.

Did anyone else think about Lexi's situation and cringe a bit when Joey and Daisy were taking about their future kids? I felt bad for Lexi who would be at home watching that after she just saw herself and Joey have a really meaningful conversation about her condition and how she might not be able to have kids. It is really hard to decide who he ends up with because he has such a good connection with everyone and all the girls are adorable. Thank you for the recap! I do have to disagree with your point about Lexi’s ex- having your own kids is something a lot of people desire, so I think he was completely in the right to decide that him and Lexi maybe weren’t on the same path. Yes people can adopt, but it is understandable for him to want to have his own kids. Lexi said there was a risk, and he decided that he didn’t want to take that route. If you flipped the script and a man said he might not be able to have kids, a woman would be totally supported to decide not to be with him because she does want to have kids. We can’t give him a hard time about this because he’s a man, it’s not fair Anyways, I enjoy the recaps!

Y’all said everything I said when I watched this episode, right down to the girl who said she didn’t know what those things on the hands are for…Protection! I mean, what else would they be for? I might have added an expletive. Sydney seemed hell bent on destroying Maria instead of trying to show Joey she was a decent person, (I don’t think she is…). She said she didn’t think it was right for him to send her home, so she’ll just go home to her cats. I thought that was funny and kind of felt sorry for the cats. He made the right decision. What was the point of Lea’s confrontation scene? It seems like the girls are more into tearing each other down than "winning the game." I’ve come around about Maria, too. I didn’t give her a chance after she got out of the limo. Still can’t figure out why the Maple Leaf was blurred. So far, I can’t see him with any of them at the end. Great to see Mama Shay!🎉

I'm beginning to think that Sydney and Lea were scheming together to get Joey to send Maria home...that is the reason Sydney told Joey the bold-faced lie that Maria told Lea to STFU...so Lea was surprised and angry when Maria came back to the mansion, because their diabolical plan had failed. We love Mama Shay! My personal conspiracy theory (with zero basis) is that Maria said “shut the f up” to Lea in jest for perhaps getting that card at the end of Charity’s season or throwing it in the fire in episode one of this season (similar to how Christina Mandrell told the first rose winner “I hate you” jokingly and it was blown up). Sydney was shown taking Maria’s comment about the weird situation as being called personally weird, so perhaps a similar thing is occurring with the stfu comment? 🤔 Always great seeing you ladies! It might not have been a bad thing for Maria to have a change of wardrobe in a few minutes into a new relationship. Most people have months to a couple years to do that and impress a potential partner on your range of style. On this show it's only hours for each individual. The wardrobe change did cross my mind as what might have ticked off Sydney though. Also, if Sydney is a plant we can await her reward. Her reappearance somewhere late. Paradise for example, but not likely, Sydney is a natural. 😅 In her limo exit, if you can recall, she did appear a little north, northeast. Definitely an IQ issue. So we can wonder why the producers brought her in over many supposed better applicants 😊
