@My KZbin Yes and No, sometimes truth can be hidden in a joke, considering that Brianna got America's impression rose, she said that it added pressure and was scared that the other girls might instantly hate her for it, which is plausible in this show. Literally one of the first things she heard was ..and I Hate You!🙄"Confirming her fear" feeding insecurity.🤣 So i can see both sides of the argument, but i do think that it was meant to be a compliment mixed with lowkey jealous shade but i'm not 100% sure if she meant it in a malicious way persé.

thank you for another fun recap! it was nice to see the women being so supportive of each other, and zach shying away from drama. i think it was silly for the producers to waste our time with the whole tazjuan story line, just to bring in some unwanted drama. i would've preferred to see the day portion of the group date that got cut. :)

The Tazjuan plot was tired and contrived 🙄. I do like that Zach is pretty honest with his feelings. Interesting that he would take Christina to meet his parents on his first date (tho didn’t Pilot Pete do that with Maddy as well?) Interesting if he is making his own fantasy suite in Week 3! 😮

I’m glad the producers seem to be going back to basics this season. So far no weird external gimmicks and even the house drama has been kept to a minimum. Let’s hope this keeps up so we can actually get to know some of these ladies.

Christine's Aunt, Barbara Mandrel, was a Country Music Superstar in the seventies until she chose to retire at the height of her career. Barbara and her sisters had a very successful TV show. I think it was called Barbara Mandrel and the Mandrel Sisters. Christine looks just like her Aunt. You would have fun googling one of the shows.

His pyloric stenosis story was a bit much lol. My dad had it in 1966. My daughter had it and went through the surgery at 7 weeks old last year, just as many babies do since it’s hereditary. It’s almost unheard of for it to occur later than 10 weeks old, so there’s no way he would have even remembered anything like that for it to be a traumatic experience. The surgery is a very simple, microscopic procedure where they clip the overgrown muscle to allow food to pass through. It’s not a disease 😅 And the mortality rate in the 1990’s was almost zero for the surgery. Even then, it was a simple fix and not life-threatening. These producers are REACHING.

I’m appreciating the “throw backs” they are putting in this season for the viewers! To have Courtney Robertson make a cameo. She was like the OG villain and probably one of the reasons women go on the show to get famous! To have the first date meet his family (pilot Pete did this with Madison).
