The brewery was amazing, so cool that they use their spent grains to make pizza! Maybe I'll try doing that next time I brew!

Luis Yanes hi Luis! What do you have the camera settings on? I have the GH5 and the quality of video you do is amazing. I’m assuming you do the camera work. Any tips would be great!

@@SamKwakWorld hey Sam! Although I do shoot some things with Sarah, she often uses other very skilled photographers/videographers which might be able to get more technical, but here's my attempt at answering your question: Most of these were shot in 4k/24fps I believe, no special settings really. For lower lighting we did use the Nokton 25mm f/0.95 Type II Lens which made a huge difference in getting that cinematic Bokeh effect. Hope that helps!

Great Video! I'm grateful that this video has places different than all the other travel/food videos for Kona. Some of these places are definitely making my list for our trip this month!

If you are traveling south through Kona I highly recommend Kayas Kawanui coffeehouse and restaurant! Amazing food, baked goods, and Kona coffee which is the best coffee I've ever had anywhere. I still crave their breakfast sandwiches often!

Awesome video and great tips! My wife and I are going this week and spending a few days there, really looking forward to checking out some nice local restaurants! We already went to Kona brewing and had a blast. New friends from Florida:)

FYI the happy hour is no longer all day long...I called about it and the person answered the phone said that he had never heard of that...that happy hour is from 3-5 every day....he said he had been working there for two years as of yesterday, so I am not sure if this video was made before then...great video otherwise! I took notes :D

this is a great video. I've been to many islands in hawaii and they key is to stay away from so-called "5 star" restaurants. Unless you enjoy spending $300 for an Olive Garden experience for two when they say "Italian." (One drink each.) The poke looked so fresh and good.

FYI....Salad served at Umeke is Hawaiian fiddlehead fern/ho'i'o(Hoe-ee-oh). Traditional lau-lau is made w/pork, or beef, belly pork(for flavor/moistness) &, when available, butterfish aka ling cod. Ingredients are then wrapped in taro leaves(aka elephant ears), wrapped in ti leaves(or aluminum foil) & steamed in imu(underground oven)along w/other foodstuffs, normally found at a traditional luau. Mahi lau-lau that you were served is NOT lau-lau, by traditional definition....It was just steamed/flavored mahi-mahi dish...SORRY....Like this vlog submission, tho...
