Love the video what would u recommend for a car detailer. Just got a location and starting to go full timer at it.

Lightspeed Retail provides the invoicing, payment processing and inventory management you need to run your business. Hubtiger offers more detailing job management features: service appointment scheduling, checklists for different detailing service packages, automated customer communications, and digital job cards to view the status of all cars at your location. Hey there! If you don't have a high sales volume then you can't go wrong with Square and if you're wanting a free POS system to compare it to, you may want to check out Loyverse to see if you like them better. Do you recommend NRS POS for smoke shop business? They charge a 2.49% plus 10c / transaction, which you can charge the customer. My location is in a local neighborhood where I don't feel comfortable charging those fees to the customers. I want the same price for customers irrespective if they are paying cash or card. So if I have to pay a flat fee for a business that does about $40k in credit card transactions, what do you recommend?
@MerchantMaverick8 күн бұрын
Hi! NRS is a solid POS system, but it's important to watch out for hidden fees. If you're not comfortable passing processing fees on to customers, we recommend considering a system like Korona instead. Hi! We think if you have a decent-sized budget, Lightspeed Retail could be a good choice, especially for a business that has a lot of SKUs. If you want something a little more affordable that would also be a good fit for online selling down the road, maybe check out Shopify's platform. Are any Pos systems compatible with Quickbooks Online it will be for a convenience store / mini market?
@MerchantMaverick22 күн бұрын
Most major POS systems integrate with QuickBooks but, depending on the size of your business, Square and Clover might be the most affordable options. If your budget is a little higher, we'd recommend you also check out POS Nation. What would you recommend for a small business that has both restaurant and retail? We have approximately 5,000 different retail items.
@MerchantMaverick4 ай бұрын
Hey, Marcey! If you can afford it, Revel is a great restaurant POS that can also handle complex inventory. Revel will have everything you need in a POS and probably quite a bit more, but if you're looking for a more affordable system, you might want to go with Clover as their system is also designed for both restaurants and retail establishments. We encourage you to check out both our Revel & Clover reviews to make an informed decision for your business needs. We'll link them below. Hey! if your business is a small operation that just needs a simple website for selling, Square should have everything you need for a really affordable price (maybe even free). If you find that you need some more frills with your online store, you might want to look in Shopify. We hope this helps! Check out our Square vs. Shopify video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZi2mpJ9aJmpqpIsi=j1opDX_-V9xDnjuT If you're considering starting with Square, you can use the code MerchantMaverick20 for 20% off your first hardware purchase at Square PO (valid through 9/30/24). 💪

I want something what very low processing fee if possible. What would you recommend?? Btw starting out in this venture w/ zero knowledge and your videos are very informative. Thanks so much for these info.

Hello- Are you familiar with Quantic POS for retail? Cloud based- what is your view on those? Thanks!
@MerchantMaverick8 ай бұрын
Hey! Quantic POS is a fairly new retail POS system that works on iPads and Android tablets. It's main perks are that you can use any payment processor for no added monthly fee and start a cash discount program to avoid payment processing fees altogether, if you want. However, there is no pricing information available, customer support ignored our requests for basic pricing and early termination fee info, and the newness of the system means that there are still bugs that need to be fixed. We hope this helps! 🙌

Hello, Which POS system would you suggest for a clothing boutique that also needs a barcode system for logistics?
@MerchantMaverick7 ай бұрын
Hi there! We recommend Lightspeed Retail for a clothing boutique that requires a barcode system. The POS system integrates with the free Lightspeed Scanner app, which allows you to turn your iOS or Android device into a barcode scanner to easily receive, transfer, and count stock. With the Scanner app, you can also scan items and add them to a purchase order, which streamlines the reordering process. It's also free to generate and print barcode labels in bulk from the inventory section of your Lightspeed dashboard. To learn more about Lightspeed Retail, check out our review. We hope this helps! www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/lightspeed-retail-review/

Awesome video! Which POS do you recommend for a single location retail furniture store? I like Shopify and Lightspeed but there’s no way we are going to pay those high fees for credit card processing.

We’d prefer to be able to retain our existing CC processing company instead of singing up for a POS that requires we use them for processing. Thanks again!✌️
@MerchantMaverick6 ай бұрын
Shopify and Lightspeed are both good choices for an establishment like yours and I would suggest Lightspeed if you need more POS features and Shopify if you do a lot of your selling online. Unfortunately, those processing fees are pretty standard in the industry. If you're looking to save on processing fees you could check out Helcim, which is a great low-cost POS option but their feature set won't be as robust. We hope this helps! 🤗 You can check out our reviews: - Lightspeed Retail: www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/lightspeed-retail-review/ - Shopify: www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/shopify-pos-review/ - Helcim: www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/helcim-pos-review/

Can you explain why its not cost effective for businesses to use interchange + rate when average sizes are
@MerchantMaverick2 ай бұрын
It’s not quite so cut and dry, because transaction volume (how much you process per month) also makes a big difference, but yes, generally low-volume and low ticket size businesses will pay less using a flat-rate processor like Square. Looking at an individual low-ticket sale, say, a $5 transaction, Square charges 2.6% + $0.10, so you’ll pay $0.23. On a typical interchange-plus plan, you might pay 0.25% + $0.12 + interchange, which would out come somewhere around $0.25 (factoring in an average interchange rate of 2%, though interchange could be more or less depending on the type of card used). Another aspect of the equation is that PSPs are typically free to use and don’t charge a monthly fee, while most interchange plus processors charge a monthly fee as well as other miscellaneous account fees (Helcim is an exception). All that being said, 1.5% + interchange is a pretty high rate, regardless of your average transaction size. Interchange usually ranges from 1-4% (sometimes more) so that means you’re paying 5.5%+ on some transactions. We hope this helps! 💪

Great 👍 info, what about Moneris? Vrs Square? I’ve been w Square for 5 yrs but since they increased fees on Debits transactions 😢I’m not liking it anymore. Bank offers Moneris? Pros and cons of Moneris pls, ❤thanks
@MerchantMaverick6 ай бұрын
Hi there! Moneris has just about every kind of hardware and software product you would need to run either a retail or online business. However, a downside is the the company’s lengthy contracts and hefty early termination fees. Moneris’ pricing and contract terms are geared more toward large businesses rather than small startups. While Square's an excellent low-cost POS system because the company offers free and affordable in-person POS software, a free eCommerce store builder, and affordable POS hardware. It's really the best low-cost option. Ultimately it depends on your business's needs. To learn more about Moneris, check out our review. I just want more help with making the right decision for my business without a hefty start up POS price. Any suggestions? I have mailboxes, Access point for Fedex, Ups, Amazon, and USPS. Notary on site and passport photos and other offers as well.
@MerchantMaverick7 ай бұрын
Hey, Jerry! Pack and ship stores have very unique business needs, so you will most likely operate best with PostalMate shipping store management software. There is a one-time $295 setup fee and a monthly subscription fee, but you can install the software on most PCs, minimizing the startup costs. You can also integrate PostalMate with several credit card processors, so you can find the one that gives you the best payment processing rates and fees. We hope this helps! Best of luck. 😊
