For me I've enjoyed the Puma Velocity 3 for daily runs, slow runs etc. For faster tempo runs the Brooks Hyperion Max. But at now 500 miles still loving my Puma Foreverun Nitro shoes.

Good list! LOVE the SL2's!! I bought two pairs because they're so good and the price is nice. You can do almost anything in this shoe. Light, stable, bouncy. Looks good too!

The Superblast 2 can do it all. I’d be hard pressed to choose anything above it at any distance or speed… except the Neo Vista for easy runs because it is the most fun shoe I have ever run in. It feels like running on a cloud combined with a trampoline, but it can still really pick up the pace if necessary.

I just used the Neo vista for a marathon that I had no business running since I wasn't really in shape :) I planned the walk/run approach and ended up walking over half the race. This shoe was a good choice....felt great running walking. Feet were getting pretty cranky toward the end as it's a bit snug compared the wider shoes I generally prefer. But overall I was pleased with it.

Great choices! We've been blessed by a lot of great shoes this year… but for me, it was the Brooks Glycerin Max. Simply because I wasn't expecting anything from Brooks from both the tech and looks department. Brooks nailed it with that new DNA tuned foam and overall aesthetic.🔥

This year I stumbled into Asics and first had a crush with NB4, then I fell utterly in love with SB2, but despite racing a 1/2 in SB2 in 1:35ish, I ran my last marathon in Adios pro 3. They don't hurt my feet despite being 83-84 kg, and they took me to the finish line in Frankfurt marathon in 3:17ish. So I Really ought to get my self a pair of SL2, though I also love my speed 3 & 4'. Also Neo Vista is tempting but I instead got a great bargain on Wawerider 28... I reckon both Neo Vista and SL2 are capable on interval sessions? Is Neo Vista plated?

I certainly am not a brand loyal. I’m more of what works & what’s comfortable especially that my feet are slightly wide. With that, here’s my take: 1️⃣ Daily Trainer- Adidas SL2 2️⃣ 5k/10k- Nike Vaporfly 3 3️⃣ Speed run/42k- Adidas pro 3 4️⃣ LSD/Super trainer-Asics Superblast 2 5️⃣ Recovery-Asics Kayano 31

Adidas sl2 is a no go for someone with wide feet. I mainly run on trails. But the Asics gel kayano is my go to road shoe. Nice and wide and stops the issue of my right foot turning inwaards.

from a heavier runner, Rebelv4 to soft needs more stack/plate. Just started on Mach6 as a firmer option vs my shoe of the year Mizuno NeoVista its a tempo dream

100% agree with this. I bottomed out this shoe in my first mile and returned it (great retailer luckily). Mach 6 works well for me in its place.

@@gkott78 reason i started on mach6 is the daily firmer option leading into AdiosPro3, NeoVista is my go to daily for all ranges and a big game changer as the superblast when it appeared

The SL2 is criminally slept on and overlooked. It's a fantastic daily trainer. Even for a runner with a larger frame, it's been grand. It surprised me. And 30-40 miles into the shoe, it improved for me at the midsole level. The one bad thing about the SL2 is that there is no Fordy Runs colorway! Come on Adidas. Missing a wonderful branding opportunity there.

Sl2 gotta be my favourite, I did have to half size up but it's outstanding for the price only downside is I wouldn't like to go much over 10k in it

@@FordyRuns SL2 is incredible and I just set my pb for a half marathon in it. 1hr 44mins down from 1hr 47mins. It didnt let me down the entire distance. I actually took a size up btw so they do fit small but what an incredible shoe

PUMA MAGMAX NITRO a huge delicious shoes for my long runs ( 50k) , can pick the pace when needed. Adidas SL 2 is my daily trainer and perfect for the speed work out , even if I would have loved the velocity nitro 3 but those are way too narrow for me

Races (5 to full) - Asics Metaspeed Sky Paris, every day shoe - Adidas Adizero Boston 12 and easy day recovery shoe basically any of the other shoes I have and are no longer fit for a specific workout as I won't go full out anyway

SL2 too unstable for me. Narrow platform with soft foam meant I was collapsing a lot in it. Quality control question as insoles are glued in and were glued in off centre so one toe was pushed up into the upper. Returns policy at adidas was bad. Took months to get a refund and they didn’t accept my returns despite the fault.

You mean the Evo SL for 150? Sold out in seconds, then the real launch with decent stock starts in may i believe. Btw: If any, the retailers can up the price. But if the demand is not that high, you sell even less if you up the price. So you just do that if ALL the others do that too. And that kind of business is illegal ;)

@@FordyRuns First: some time next year: Sonic Blast. Sandwich Foam with a Plate. Maybe an "uptempo" Novablast? But when there is a Megablast, there are not many superlatives any more. Like Ultrablast, Gigablast etc and the budget version of it: Hyperblast (analog to the Novablast-Dynablast shoes). Help, I have too many shoes. If I need new ones, it will be Superblast 8 & Novablast 10/11 or something ;) Or all out the Mach 12!
