I got one when I had an aliner. Kept it and put it in my little guy max plus made a smaller table. Best thing ever. Gives us floor space (for an ottoman) plus the easy a movement. We covered it in marble contact paper and it matches our kitchen plus we made a filler piece so we could still make the bed. Making vegan sausage biscuits and gravy at our campsite this morning. Great video! Also the weboost has been a miracle on this trip. Thanks again for the tips.

Love the shirt! Also, I would put a mount on the outside, below the roof travel near the door to utilize for placing things while opening the door or setting up an outdoor grill.

We looked at the Alto Condo and met Bill and Elain who have one. We think its a great camper! Nice mod. In the end we did a teardrop and its on our KZbin channel as well. Happy travels we will be following your adventures.

As someone in the market for a first camper can you tell me why you went with a classic teardrop over this?
@LovingLifeHitchedUp4 жыл бұрын
@@tsol920 quality of both is outstanding but it's made in canada so we weren't sure about warranty work. The closest match we found was nucamp. Amish made in the usa. Solid aluminium roof, excellent craftsmanship. We're filming a full tour of our trailer today. Should be up on our channel by the end of the week.

Was the plate under the table offset or placed in the center? Is there a video that explains this? Thx.
@bmart735 ай бұрын
i cut my original table down to about 1/3rd the width, so now its like a wide shelf for semi permanent objects, and then fit a Lagun table system in front of it, that way i get the benefit of both.

Any idea what the other rail is for under the table? There is a rail like on the mount under the table but I can't find out why it's there. I put mine in my sailboat.

I have an R1713 and bought the Lagun Table System and I'm preparing to install it. There is nice solid square stock to secure the top, but there doesn't seem to be one at the bottom. To what did you secure the bottom of your aluminum bar at the bottom? Also, did you put something between your bar and the "wall" for support?
@ALifeMoreLight4 жыл бұрын
Phil Marshall I secured it to the floor and put a dab of silicone at each fastening point where I mounted it. I did not put anything between the wall and the aluminum plate. Good luck!

Sorry if I missed it in the video, but I didn't see you address if you can still use that back area as a bed or not. I assume the original table folded down to make a bed. Can you still do that with the Lagun table?
@ALifeMoreLight3 жыл бұрын
The cushions are used to make the back bed, not the table. The table is used to make the front dinette into a bed. When the table is not in the back mount we can certainly use the full bed. Thanks for watching!
@cliffwendy37654 жыл бұрын
Can you still use the table in a bed configuration? Can you store the table in a vertical position for traveling?
@ALifeMoreLight4 жыл бұрын
I guess we could but with a smaller table it would definitely be easier. We typically leave the table set up in the front dinette rather than storing it. It’s plenty secure in its mount.

We're glamping in our Alto Monday for four nights at Susquehanna SP. I fashioned a temporary waterproof covering for our broken BFW. Tested on the highway and in the rain, all is working well. Still waiting for the border to open, now set at 21 Sept.

Hi love your videos, We just ordered a F1743 without Air conditioning as we live in Cooooold Canada. But we plan to travel through the States. We have only ever tent / tent trailer camped so we don’t have experience with a hard top trailer. Do you think I should call Alto and Add AC to my order? Much thanks Eh PS that’s my daughters picture I’m a 61 year old x hockey player HA HA

How did you gain access to the rear panel?
@ALifeMoreLight2 жыл бұрын
I accessed the back from the sides. The coroplast is velcro’d on. I thought that I may need to remove the back Ben h but it wasn’t necessary.
@susanmurray20634 жыл бұрын
Hi We are receiving our 1713 in two weeks! Two questions: what are the measurements of the front plate you installed? Also, how do you access under the back cushion to install the second mount there? A friend will be doing the install for us. Thanks so much
@ALifeMoreLight4 жыл бұрын
Exciting!! Congratulations 🎊! I used 3/4” thick plate for the front Lagun mount. I made it a little wider than the supplied plate from Lagun and the length was made to fit the opening between the top brace and the floor. Unfortunately, the only way to access the back area is by taking off the Velcro panels inside the storage areas. I could not see any way to get at the back from the top. Good luck! Enjoy the new Alto!!

safaricondo.com/en/caravanes-alto/ I don't believe it's currently an option to have SC install a Lagun Table but they do have an extensive list of add ons so it may be possible. Thanks for the comment?

Can you order your trailer without the table system at all so your not wasting resources? Can you order this system with the trailer? Nice vids and fun to watch. The only thing you left out is approximate cost. These tables are exactly what was in VW campers. I have always wished more RV manufacturers would look at the VW camper as a template. They didn't build them that long and have them last that long with poor quality. That's why the Alto appeals to me.Same thought pattern on build (small) and quality (big).
@ALifeMoreLight4 жыл бұрын
You may be able to order without the standard table. I’m not sure and we didn’t know better when we purchased.
@Bostonbob34 жыл бұрын
I don't suppose you'd consider making "Lagun PacKs" of all these components and sell them? I'd certainly buy one, and at a premium. (I'm handy enough to install, but don't have the equipment to make the aluminum blocks/bars.) Aluminum blocks/bars with pre-drilled holes, screws, link to this vid. "Life More Lagun Pack."
