I hauled for 5 yrs for coacham and south ga rv till my wife came down with neuro sarcoidosis couldn't stay on the road no more away from her she passed away 4 years ago and now I'm wanting to get back into RV transportation and I ordered a truck and October last year and I still hadn't got it I was wondering if they would let me do the orientation and all that and just wait till my truck come in or do drive away you still my truck came in

I am a retired firefighter and I have a CDL and I have a truck and a multi haul trailer. What I do not have is 6 months of OTR experience. Would they take 30 years of driving heavy emergency vehicles?

Dynamic sounds like a great company. I'm leased onto several companies in the driveaway sector. One of them outshines the others. They're always willing to help me and it's not uncommon for them to throw in a few bucks for deadheading! Eventually I'm looking at going back into RV hauling, probably the multi haul division. Does Dynamic have a multi haul division?

Great video! I have a 3500 Silverado cab and chassis that is setup for hot shot. I’ve thought about RV transport till I find a flatbed trailer. I have a question on your fifth wheel hitch. What’s your hitch height on your fifth wheel? Thanks and safe travels!

I do not even know. Sorry. Mine is a standard with the bed removed and the fifth wheel is attached to the frame. Let me know where you would like me to measure from (the ground to the hitch height?) and I will do that for you.

I’m gonna look into doing RV transport. I’m paying off my semi so it’ll by January to finish paying it off . I really want to get into RV transport business. I’m out of southeast Georgia. Is Southeast Ga a good freight lane?

There is not a lot going to GA. Every now and then there will be one. We have several going to West TN, NC, Southern AL, starting to pick up some to FL. If you are going to do it full time and don't need to get back home often, then it is wide open. I have to have the south loads because I am only doing it part time and need to be back home often. It pays better for me to have those loads because of that. Hope this helps. Email me if you need to.

I don't know where you heard they cut all their drivers. They are transitioning over to Horizon. I have orientation next week. Maybe some didn't get approved by Horizon or something.

Yes David, unfortunately all RV's are made in Northern Indiana. You would have to do loads out to Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, California,, etc.

I’ve been talking to guys that work for smaller transport companies and they like the atmosphere and the relationship. I’m concerned about the difference between the smaller and larger companies especially when it comes to fuel discounts. I also like the ability to dispatch myself and I’m only aware of one company that allows this: IT.

I was with Horizon too, which is a pretty big outfit. Fuel discounts are the same. They use the same discount card. As far as dispatching yourself, no they don't have that, but I don't mind calling in at all. It really is no big deal with Dynamic. Now with the other company, I did feel a little pressure or heard some discuss in the voice when I chose a southern load over one of their east west loads. Not happened with Dynamic though. You just call in and tell them what you want and if it is available they email you the paperwork and your ready. You can pick up the paperwork, but I just have them email to me.
