I am going to go fishing in outer banks north Carolina what jigs lures or bait could you suggest anything would help.

How and what do you use the bananas jigs for? Also how do you use the poppers?

banana jigs are mainly for pompano. I use them when in fishing from the beach. To use them cast them, cast them as far a possible let them sink all the way to th bottom and jig them up so they come off the bottom and fall back down to the bottom stirring up sand. I catch a lot of pompano using this technique. youll also catch Jack and ladyfish. Poppers, you attach a 18 inch leader with s DOA shrimp or gulp. pop the cork and let sit for a couple seconds so the shrimp can fall again. repeat that process. hopr that helped. :)

first of all I use this lure when I'm fishing bays or mangrove I never really had any luck off the beach but im sure you could catch some. The lure is mostly for inshore. with that said there are two techniques i use. the first method is casting it and twitching it slowly, you twitch it like your walking the dog with the top water, keep the lure a several inches below the surface of the water (3-12 inches below water) another way is to cast it let it sink for a while and retrieving it at a fast pace then letting it sink again and repeat that process. I have had more luck with with the first technique but i have also caught jack with the fast retrieve. try those techniques and see how they work for you!

How to u rig the shrimp?

there are two ways i use the shrimp. one way you can tie 20lbs leader to your main line and then tie a loop knot to the shrimp. (if you buy DOA shrimp they come with hooks and weights already inserted in the shrimp). Another way you can rig these is by taking the original hook out of the DOA shrimp and put a small circle hook through the nose of the shrimp. (a size 4/0 circle hook should be just fine) hope this helped! if you have any other question feel free to ask
