I'm just starting a reglazing business and i'm using Integrity coatings. Have you used this before? how would it compare to this system? I'd like to use the best product.

Yep, used them before, sorry to say easy to spray, but no good for long lasting. Tubs are dull and 3-6 months, non-iso coatings just don’t hold up. The coating you want to use is the topkote system, look thru my videos you will see testing videos I’ve done, nothing holds up like topkote and crosslink3 bonding agent. Just stay away from non-iso if you care about your product and customers, it just ends up being a disappointment. I always crosslink3 everything (that’s the bonding agent from Sumter topkote inc.), and not all bonding agents are the same, Midwest chemical sells a bonding agent, not even 10% the bond as Crosslink3, napco sells one too but the shelf life isn’t long (maybe 2 months), and I’m not sure of the bond I haven’t tested that product in over 13 years, so I’m sure it’s not the same. Midwest chemical 5000 polyurethane topcoat is a good coating and they have an awesome primer too. But again use the crosslink3 bonding agent with there stuff as well. If you want to talk to me about what I think after 15 years in the business, call me anytime, I don’t hold nothing back, I don’t keep secrets. I’ll tell you who the scammers in the coating businesses and the honest coating manufacturers are. Call or text me anytime: (226)788-7555

Hi, Fabrizio from Hamilton. How was thie PPG product, I'm using Topkote but I like to find an affordable but not cheapest product for commercial units. Any suggestion?

do you charge more for jobs that require that much more stripping?

Great question. We have a range $439-$679 depending on work needed to restore before we Reglaze.

Jobs that require more work cost less on “Opposite Day”.

Great job as always! Work smart not hard. Before a refinisher comes in make sure to put ALOT of silicone all over the tub 😂😂😂 jk.

For the love of god please tell me you've got hearing protection on when doing this. You'll get horrific tinnitus otherwise

When you break it down per tub it’s only a matter of $10 more. I would stick with topkote, best product I have ever found. This coating on this job is a requested tested from a friend. Not something we will be using in production.

@@bathtubrenew I’m using cross link with hawks topcoat. No failures since I’ve been using cross link. Might switch to Topkote then use the remaining hawks for rentals. Does Topkote come in 4 hour cure? And what’s the mix ratio of Topkote? Hawks is super easy at 2-1-1. Never have a run or sag

@@veganfit2388 That’s exactly what I did!… took me 6 months to use all my hawk on rentals, now all I have is hawk almond and bone rotting on the shelf in my shop…lol! I use topkote for residential, the best system I’ve been able to find. Crosslink really helped my business, best product I have ever put in production.
