I can’t possibly be the only one who thinks that the goaltenders job is the hardest one in hockey. These guys are amazing and athletic. Watching some of the saves I know that I would have been broken up into little pieces! These guys are great no matter what team they’re on.

Oof nah man Rask was still in the crease and just had to reach for it, still hard but Fleury had to literally leap to get that puck, much harder

Billy Somers I played goalie for 14 years and I can say that rasks is harder to do, being on your knees and moving like that is much harder than it looks. Leaping is much easier and there was no one in fleurys way, rask had to drop his stick and use the inner part of his blocker to stop the puck. It is harder to do that what fleury did.

@@oof1485 - Dude, Rask is just covering spaces while Fleury's is a full-blown SAVE, you don't leap diagonally "just in case", you also have to time it PERFECTLY so the opponent doesn't time to change his shot and humiliate you by hitting it low. Meanwhile, Rask's play is very dumb, he's just being a human barrier.

there is nothing you can say about ANY Goaltender, they ALL have cat like reflexes and goals almost have to be slap shots at 100mph and over the shoulder to have a chance to get by. Have always admired them in the nets. GREAT JOB to them all.

@@GavinG603 Turtle, Way back when Norfolk had the ADMIRALS in the ECHL, we had a great Goalie who eventually made it to the Capitols. Mark (St) Bernard, used to call the net area his DOGHOUSE. He did well with the Caps but only lasted a cpl seasons. I wish you MUCH luck in net. !! BTW Caps just took out the Kings tonight in LA
