Very good informations. I would add that if the two federal swiss schools (ETHZ/EPFL) compete with the best American universities and OxBridge, the tuition fees are 1,750 USD/year. An advantage in Lausanne where the cost of living is 30% cheaper than in Zurich. Certainly the best country to study science and technology at an international level almost for free.

Caltech has the entire undergrad population of 950 (about 250 entering freshmen each year), and graduate students of about 1200. PS: the very tall beautiful building during CMU actually belongs to Univ of Pittsburg (Cathedral of learning)

Hey Sean... Your video is simply great.. Thankyou for guiding.. I have one teeny-tiny Query, If you can help out. My Younger Brother is done with '10th Boards' recently in (2021). He is entering in '11th', and crazy about doing 'Bachelors in Computers Science' (CS) from Columbia or Harvard or MIT (USA), after '12th'. So, for (CS) is it necessary to have Science Subjects (PCM) in 11th and 12th, or can he opt out of a certain subject (Say Chemistry) and still go ahead with (English, Maths, Physics, Computers, etc.) and still be good to be eligible to be accepted there..?

If you want to take engineering , PCM is always mandatory …. In the usa also they will teach you PCM . So it’s better that you take those classes in school and don’t take any risks.

On averege per year USA universties cost about 50 000$ and criteriea for top universities is very hard ,especially for foreigners In most universities less than 5% of applicants get accepted

Why doesn’t she apply to University of Illinois Urbana Champaign? It’s ranked top 5 as the best computer science programs in the nation. The only colleges ranked higher are MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, and UC Berkley. Which means it’s also ranked above all the ivy leagues. Also she gets in state tuition if she is a resident of Illinois. Good luck getting “free tuition” at any of these schools
