I am a motorcycle enthusiastic... I love making videos with motorcycles... and some how I travel a lot... and this is how travel moto exists.
I want to let you guys know that I am not the best rider ever who speaks good English and knows much about details of the bikes... I just love what I am doing.
if you have knowledge about motorbikes you can be part of the videos by leaving your comments. (I read them all and visit your channels).

Advice: Enter the names of the manufacturers and models of the respective scooters being displayed, as well as additional information, such as the cylinder capacity of each one. This makes viewing the video more interesting

also include rim/tire/wheel size. 16- or 17-inch wheels are preferred. I don't even consider scooters with rim sizes under 15 inches, eg Piaggio BV 350, Honda ADV-X with 14-inch rear wheel.

Thanks for this video, so you liked the seating on the burgman 400 better than on the Tmax 530Dx. Have you tried the xmax400 ? I think it was the xmax300 in your video.

Last year I bought xmax 250 and sold it after 1 week due to my 1.70 height. Its too high for me to manage properly/control. So, now, I’m happy with my burgman 200 with 74cm.seat lenght☺️

Thanks for this video. It helped me to answer a lot of questions since I am a very tall guy who wants a scooter. There are really only two scooters out there for tall people. The Suzuki Burgman and the BMW 650.

Susuki burgman is a GT scooter , well .. expensive. If you are looking for less expensive scooter, the honda forza is quite good for tall people. Good vidéo

Some of the bigger scooters that have decent leg room have handle bars that come too far back and make you lean backwards. The Honda Forza is an example of that. That would kill my back on a long ride.

This was extremely useful and validates my choice for a BMW C650 GT. I think you gave it a thumbs up - I took a punt hat the Germans would design it for larger people and for a pinion passenger. I pick mine up this week.

The driver's butt rest on the burgman is removable. Without it, you can stretch out and have a super comfortable ride.

I'm 6' tall (with a 34-35 inseam) and Honda Forzas are VERY cramped. Not for anyone over 5'10".

How was the vespa? The shoot angle was not good so I wasn't able to really see how it looked... Would you say for someone of 1.82 mts will be good? I love that style

I own a honda pcx150 2018 scooter and love it Im 5" 11 and it fits me just right. I would recommend only buying a Japanese scooter over most other bc there very dependable and very easy to fix.

They are good from any country now. Even the better Chinese scooters are fine. I've had Chinese, Taiwanese, Italian, Japanese...all good

I'm getting a scooter in May of 2022 which is next month. I am 6' tall and I don't want to feel like I am on a child's bike or scooter! It seems we can buy a seat that is flat all the way back and so we can scoot our butt back further to stretch our legs out more. I also would try to install some sort of foot pegs out front as far as possible to get my feet out front more.

This was 2018. Interesting how many folks had masks on and how socially considerate Asian people are. This isn’t a current situation. I lived in Japan in the ‘60’s and many people wore masks even then. Nice video!

I ended up having naked motorcycle kawasaki er 500 and feets me better than any scooter I sat there. I didn't like the seating in the Forza. Burgman is much better in my opinion

Considering your height, I am surprised you were including any scooter smaller than 250 or 300 cc. The video would have been more meaningful if you had started with the largest ones and worked toward the smaller ones. Once you reached those too small, there was no reason to continue. By the way, which ones did you prefer?

I'm 6' tall and have a long inseam. I've found the Piaggio BV series to be the best scooter for tall people. Burgmans are terrible if you're tall. Vespa GTS 250/300 are pretty good but not as good as Piaggio. I used to own a SYM HD 200 and that's good for tall people. Most scooters are way too cramped and you will feel it on a longer ride. :(

You may be right on some points here....but I am sure there are aftermarket seats that are flat all the way back and so you can scoot your butt back further to get your feet out front of you much more and not feel like you are on a child's bike.....this is 2022 and so I am not going to comment on the BMW scooter that people here seem to choose over the rest.....but it seems that Kymco makes the BMW scooter and it is more expensive with the BMW name on it....like $2000 more!.....I'm looking at either a SYM or Kymco scooter and I am 6' tall....if I don't like how it feels for my legs I will add a seat that helps with that.

Useless video if no comments of which one fitted you better, I am 6´2" and the Vespa 300 is very comfortable for tall riders in a compact package, Nmax is roomy as well , BMW 650 GT (Not Sport) and 2017+ Tmax (Not prior models that have a low handlebar ) are the most comfortable but too big for commuting unless you do a lot of highway.

As he said, the least suitable bikes were first and the most suitable were last, so bike number one is most suitable. That's a 2018 Suzuki Burgman 650 LX (here in Japan it is called a Skywave).

Travelmoto most of the scooters you try are not the problem, you are the problem. The distance between your knee and heel is very tall. Every time you sit on a scooter your knees sit higher than your butt, that forces your body into a backward tilt position. To resolve that problem you need to get a cushion that is at least 2" tall, that will fix your posture and force it into a forward lean. You are welcome!
