The place we went was simply called, Fish Market Restaurant. Nice views and the grub was on point. I had a grilled Bass which was succulent. Mrs. had shrimp and left me the head, eyes and natural butter. Totally legit.

The food in Egypt is incredible, I have been here one month and haven't had a SINGLE THING I haven't enjoyed. That is amazing in itself, if you ask me. I travel a lot and am expecting to not enjoy something along the way, but really everything I have eaten in this country has been delicious.

Hey thanks so much, I think it's a great restaurant and have been recommending people at my hostel in Cairo to go there if I hear they are going to Alexandria. As far as Arabic goes, whoa! I am super basic with it and actually most of the Arabic I am using in these videos is Fus7a, which I discovered is not what the local Egyptians speak in their daily lives! I was watching some KZbin videos on Egyptian Arabic before I came to Egypt in the attempt to know a few words, but most of what I learned was Fus7a (pronounced foos-Ha). So I've since deleted that from my memory and re-learned the local Egyptian dialect. I'm far from good at it but perhaps I will upload a video with some basic words and phrases I think would be useful for someone coming to Egypt. Thanks so much for your support and suggestions, much love!

Wow, haven't eaten a fish for such a low price in egypt. Normally it was around 100 for smaller fish. But providing fish with a plastic fork is downgrading the place imho.

Yeah it's a really good spot, an Egyptian friend recommended it me. The plastic fork didn't bother me any, and worth eating with that and spending 50 less, in my opinion. Definitely would go back.
