I really like your reviews as well and I miss that you don’t do more of them. I have been sticking to the Harry’s razors since watching one of your reviews years ago. Your channel was actually what got me to finally give in and taught me how to shave my head thank you for that. I’ve wanted to try the leaf freezer but afraid to cut myself with it. Also, have you heard anything about supply razors, I believe they were on Shark Tank in the US. I have used the bulldog razor, which I’m not a fan of. I was in the beginning, but it hasn’t done so well unless I need to replace the blades. I’ve also been thinking of looking into free Bird razors, if you could do reviews on the supply in the free Bird. I would appreciate it, thanks man!

I alternate between wet shaves with the Twig and the RX7. RX7 is useful when I'm travelling with hand luggage and can't take a blade. I find it's at its best used every other day, and the little pop out trimmer is useful for the tricky bits around the ear.
@thechurlishgentleman14759 ай бұрын
I use the rx7 and find that towards the back of the neck does get a little sensitive. I put a thin layer of aloe vera gel on the skin to help it pass over easier and all over the scalp when finished to soothe. Once that soaks in (about 2 mins) a thin layer of Palmer's to finish. Works a treat for me

You should do a review of the Henson AL13 razor….Ive been shaving my head for 3 years and over that time have tried nearly every razor you could imagine, cartridges, safety razors, electric, the Leaf razor and lots of other specialist pivoting razors….and the Henson AL13 is by a country mile the most comfortable effective and easy to use razor and you’ll get the best wet shave finish unlike electric razors…almost impossible to cut yourself and the design takes the guesswork out of finding the razor angle and pressure etc. have been following the channel for a long time now, and would love to see you try it, I think it’s a razor that a lot of people would benefit from knowing about.

I have to shave every day for work (corporate job) and I've daily driven an RX5 for about 3 years. It suddenly died on me, about 2 weeks ago, still shaving with the original shave heads. I went out and bought another one right away. To maintain it, all I did was rinse the shave heads with hot water every other use and that's it. 10/10 would buy again.

I use electric shaver for my legs (subbed for my husband) and I have the nice $200 Remington for the final pass... but I let a cheap chinese one do the bulk work. The reason is those heads do wear down and become more dull with time. Better to let the cheap offbrand take the hit on the harsher first pass.
@APN34Z8 ай бұрын
You should be rinsing your shaver head out after every use, this preserves the sharpness of the blades, they're very easy to get ahold of too, ive had my RX7 for about 2 years now, just phone Remington and they will send you one, i think they are £30 with shipping.

When skin starts to shine on scalp it means your hair follicles are permanently gone, if part looks bald but it is not shiny means hair will grow back. Most bald people have shiny head, that is because of fibrosis and excess oilness.

Thanks for spending the money so we don't have to! I often get tempted by the convenience of these electric rotary shavers, but so far they just don't seem worth it to me, considering you have to buy replacement heads. Would you agree, you get a closer shave depending on how many days growth of hair you have on your head..? I bought the rx5 and watched your videos AFTER getting it. Always have wet shaved and really wanted the rx5 for the convenience but before opening it, I took it back to the store as nothing can come close to a wet shave, once again, depending on how many days growth of hair. I have watched dozens of your videos now and what you say was decisive in me returning my rx5. So then, in 2024, what is the alternative I have to ask myself…And Joe Public! Answers welcome!

I have cheap Remington electric 2 foil shaver and it's working great on longer hair (few days of growth , my hair is growing crazy fast) it cuts really close to the skin , for how cheap it was ( around 10 euros) it's better then i expected , BUT problem is that i can use it only once every few days cuz it just iritates my skin too much if i use it on stubble , and that was problem for me cuz my hair grows fast so i just switched to razors. First few Gillettes , also had irritation with shaving every day cuz of sensitive skin, had much problems with razor bumps and then i saw Leaf Razor review on this channel , after watching few other reviews took a plunge and got my Leaf Razor and it was game changer for me. Shaving my head everyday without any problem , shave is so quick with it , much more then with mach3 cuz you dont have to wash it after every pass. So for everyone that have sensitive skin , but wants to shave every day my advice is go for Leaf Razor (their "twig" is also great). Alum block after shave is also game changer for everyone with sensitive skin. Cheers

Blades in electric shavers sharpen themselves as you use them before they loose enough material to stop shaving because there is not enough contact. So basically they gradually get better each time until they gradually start suck again which is when it is time to change the shaving head. If you got red in the beginning it is because new blades were not as sharp as they are now which means you moved around your head with it too fast which means hair pulling and irritation.
