I have bought plants of Rosy adn they have all been hardy and fantastic. Her staff at the Hampton Flower Show are great. I have actually bought off her directly at plant fairs. She is always extremely helpful. Do you not find her videos better than Gardeners World as always to the point.

Yes she’s brilliant. I need to find out if she does mail order once I’ve prepared my new garden. 🎉

Great video, love them all and what a magnificent set up you have. I’m in early stages of finding out what likes the soggy west of Ireland as recently moved here. Slugs are an enormous issue and roots getting too wet, but some things do ok. Thank you for sharing.

Hallelujah! An anenome that doesnt take over the garden. Well done in producing a clump form! New Zealand will probably never see it, unfortunately. Great video.😊 Geums are underrated in my view. They are a lovely, hardy perinial and contrast well with blue plants, like delphiniums. Ive grown the blue eringium from seed...looking forward to seeing this grow. My astrantia seeds didnt appear, but i will try during a colder period to sow again. Astrantias remind me of tiaras or crowns....my favorite plant at the moment even though you cant find one in any nursery here.

Dont they have the swan varieties in new zealand by now?

I grew Eryngium planum and yuccafolium from seed. The E planum bloomed profusely in a light lavender blue in every different location in the garden( testing for best spot). I had been hoping for the bright blue which was on the packet. That never happened, and they each grew to about 5 feet tall. I pulled most of them since they were huge and messy looking. The E yuccafolium took 2 years to become green basal Yuccalike plants but never flowered. Pulled all but a few. This year I look forward to Geums to bloom with my beautiful Ajuga field with the thick spikes of brilliant purple/ blue.

You just reminded me of the question i actually had whether there are any varieties of the fall anemones that dont actually spread this much. Not talking about the swans but the ones that also flower in pink? Thanks!

Great video with quick data points. Wondering if you could share whether required deadheading in order to bloom well. Thanks 😊

I love “thug” plants. I’ve got a massive garden, a lot of which is on a slope so it’s awkward to access, so thugs can romp away as far as I’m concerned!! 👍🏻I want that Helianthus 🤗

Does eryngium "Big Blue" go dormant in mid-to-late summer?
@rosyhardy1811 ай бұрын
It can do. Mostly it will die back mid to late August and put up a small rosette of leaf for the autumn
