Yeah it surprisingly lasted well without the super mario bros/all stars nes/snes bundles. Tetris was bundled with game boy too, and wii sports with the wii. Wish vid mentioned that as it's almost an unfair comparison. Minecraft is king lol

@@MrVariant It also makes me wonder how close Tetris would be to Minecraft in numbers if they did combined numbers for every release of it. There's no doubt Minecraft would still be on top, so it's really just for curiosity sake.

I hate to say it but I really don't think so. There's no possible way there was only 6 million Mario 3 sold by 95. NEVER!!! That game was a world wide all time hit. Probably 80 + Million by 93 alone. And it no doubt out did Mario 1. In fact by 93 they literally sold Mario 3 with the nintendo instead of Mario 1. This is 1st hand knowledge. I watched it all go down. I owned an atari in the mid 80's and gameboy in 92 - 96. So I know all the games and popularity. And by 97 Mario 64 came out. It didn't even make this list. No possible way this is accurate. Sorry. Never. I just don't believe this one. Sorry dude.

Thats the reason its not on the list i think. Once a game is free it doesnt sell. No pure P2W games on the list for obvious reasons.

Absolutely no way only 50 million Mario by 2000 jajajajajajaj NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! There were 100 million copies sold easily by 1990 alone. That game was world world world wide. Almost every other house owned a copy in some places. And Moral Kombat didn't even make the list?? I'm sorry, I don't think this chart is accurate.
