I don't know how you can grow. My maximum growth is 20% and I always end up getting killed by some dinosaur. It's difficult and takes a lot of time.

Spino are difficult to grow on land. Which map do you play? There are some great locations to grow spino, but the risk is also there.

What’s your strategy if you don’t mind me asking? For me it’s waiting for my ambush then charging my bite, hit them, drain their stam with O2 a bit, then backing off until ambush comes back. But it really only works in 1v1’s and it’s much harder with water speed spinos.

@ariannabuck6524 personally I use the sarcos better menuverability to go over the Spino and hit its sail with a charge bite and hitting its tail with the asphyxiatating bite on the way out. Oh course this isn't fool proof but generally against a better spino or speed spoon I run armored tail since you get hit on the tail a lot. Overall I either out flank or go over or under to get the combo then back off while it's turning around to charge another bite.

Claw are also good, too, against bigger foes like ducks and other spino, depending on the situation, but for sarco, Bite has the reach to connect them. The bite does 50 damage, and the claw does 45 damage.

@Quigleybro based on my testing, a defense spino and a speed spino, takes 19 regular bite to be killed from another spino. A full water speed build vs. a full water defense spino is the same speed. I have reported it to alderon, so it could change in the next update.
