I have the exact same setup at home - I am not an audiophile and honestly, I am not sure I feel too much difference, but would you say it really does? Did you also make the 'height' as instructed? I never understood what that was about. Thank you in advance if you care to help me with an honest answer!!! :)

⁠@@andreid.9105 Dolby Atmos provides two height audio channels that provide sound above the listening area to expand the sound stage beyond the horizontal plane. The height adjustment increases or decreases the volume of the height audio channels. This allows for greater immersion with Dolby Atmos audio, especially in movies.

Thank you Pete! You saved my system. I tried the demo and I was not getting the rear surround and rear height channels on the era 300. I investigate and found that a easy solution is to remove the era from the system and adding again. Now it is working and a huge difference. Very happy

I keep getting the same issue. When remove surround and add them again it works, but when I try next day the rear hights don't work and just come from the arc instead. Are you getting same issue?

Hey Pete I’m De in United States I love my sumos surround set up arc two subs and 300’s for surround and I also use soon amp an two paradigm tower speakers in the front when they play at the same time it enhances my sound so much and I get no delay in the sound my movies and music sound so grand I appreciate your videos keep up the good work.

I have a similar setup except for I have 2 subs, sub 3 and a sub 2. I tried the settings that he recommend and I wasn't feeling that bass and vibration that I'm used to. Bass +5 Treble+3 Loudness - On TV level +10 Music +9 Music playback-full Height+5 Volume limit-off Spatial music-on Try this out and tell me your thoughts.

Danke Pete. You are listening to setting of 50% Volume and +6 sub? Sure your ears are still working fine. If I set my Sonos set on 35% loudness my ears start hurting. And thats just 50 to max. 70 dB. Depends on what is loudess scene in the movie.

Thanks Peter. Just a heads up, I am able to play the Atmos demo through the Apple Music app if I go to the Apple Music app on my Apple TV 4K directly (not via airplay). I have an LG C1 OLED and the Arc, sub x2, era 300 for reference. It’s always worked for me that way and does play all of the channels individually. **edit** and thank you for the Atmos on/off video download. Pretty awesome stuff!

Thank you Pete. I using arc+ 1 sub + pair era300. I had download “ Santeria Atmos Demo “and compare to TC at Wheelock, I can’t heard my upfiring sound. TC Wheelock there can hear very clearly that there is sound coming from top. I had retune using 2 x iPhone ( make it louder tuning) also can’t hear the sound coming from top. I did put my ear at arc and era300, both can hear up firing speakers got sound. ( just that when sit center, can’t feel any sound from top. I had follow same setting and high level from 5 until 10 also not much different …. Sian . The only difference is there (TC) have 2 Sub

Updated 3 May24: I had went back and ask, he mention the file I had downloaded need to put to thumb drive and play from tv so that to have Atmos effect. This what they had mention to me. ( they said u can’t hear any Atmos effect from iPhone) butI did play from iPhone and can hear era300 up firing speakers come out sound. Anyway need to buy thumb drive to test( I not yet test)
