Just an FYI to EVERYONE! It's not recording at 100 megabytes a second or 60 megabytes a second. It's actually megabits. So you don't need to spend almost $100 on an SDCard. SD cards are labeled in mb/s (megabytes) while the videos are in mbps (megabits).

I'm not sure I understand Slow Motion settings. Does it FILM in slo-mo? Or does it film at normal speed and make your footage smooth and high quality when you slow it down in editing?
@SidneyDiongzon5 жыл бұрын
There are 2 types of slow motion on the a6500: (1) S&Q and (2) Normal Slow Motion. The S&Q automatically slows down footage where you can play it back in slow motion. For normal slow motion, you have to interpret the footage in post. Otherwise, it will look like normal looking footage on your timeline. Hope that makes sense?

Shooting s-log3 is hard if you don't have a monitor like a Shogun, and that's why I like shooting Cine4 and exposing it right on the viewfinder, not the monitor. Hey Sung Kim - I just got the a6500 and had the same question, then I found this vid that shows you how to set the Movie Mode to S&Q Motion so you can view the slow mo in camera: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZi2f6Kaj8iliq8.

I followed you step by step but always end up with 1/120 instead of 1/50. Is this because of the different lens I’m using? I’m currently using a 18-135mm.

Lens has nothing to do with it. Are you in Manual in the Movie mode?
