The wall bounce is BRILLIANT it's amazing what a difference it made for my single Elgato Key Light. Thank you for the idea. The Key Light has plenty of brightness to spare for this use. Just note that in your video when you are showing the indirect/wall bounce clips, the "captions" at the top incorrectly read "direct"

I'd love one of these for my streams and videos, the two studio lights I have take a tonne of space but it's just far too expensive for small streamers/content creators who do not currently earn from their content.

Your frame rate keeps dropping because every time you lose Iight, you're shutter speed drops to compensate. If anything, you're ISO should be set to auto to maintain good framerate. Then again, once you've dialed in your lighting, your camera settings shouldn't really be changing. Also, if you're using the kit lens that came with the camera, I'd upgrade to lens with a bigger aperture. I could be wrong, but I thought I might throw it out there. Thanks for the tips!

Funny enough... this is literally how a "key light" is supposed to be used :P Two lights pointing at the same angle at the same subject just makes for an ugly, unflattering look. (Though still ideal for green screening)

I own a key light and I enjoy it but I also bought the elgato green screen when it first came out at $300 and now it's down to i think it was $170. So I feel alittle cheated but thats with everything when it first comes out its gonna be expensive at launch so I'm alittle surprised to see no price drop on these elgato key lights.. I'd possibly buy another one at $150... By then I should have adequate lighting for my elgato green screen but I guess we'll see.

I am currently working on a new setup after I upgraded my PC, and I'm working with 2x Samsung NX1, so the image quality is high, and this light looks like it can be very nice, specialy since they're so thin/slim. I only have the old Cam Link though, but I do want two of the 4K ones, or your 4K60 Pro, as the NX1 only has clean out in 4K and UHD (something I forgot about when I bought the Cam Link, so I have been cropping in a bit on the 1080p image to avoid the on screen text). I'm also using a LUT created in 3D LUT Creator to get proper colors, so I'm curious to how good the light is from your Key Light :) It would be interesting to have a few of these to play around with for different setups.

I have 2 25w LED lights with soft boxes and defusers I can get 5500k of CRI and its as bight as 2 300w bulbs, combine with one of these babys and my green screen its daylight all night log lol.

Yes, it used the same mount as most cameras have. I’ve mounted my key lights on my two tripods many times when trying out different angles. Feel free to check out some of my lighting setups on Twitch. I use 2 Key Light Air lights right now ($125 each or so). They work great!

I asked on their Twitter. It's the same pole mount as used with the Key Light. I would love for them to sell individual poles. Elgato does provide a rubber washer with the Key Light kit in the event that you would just want to angle your light on a window-seal or somewhere else, and use the pole with your camera.

Interesting, why does lighting affect frame rate?

It's because the sensor of the camera needs more exposure time in a darker environment in order to get a brighter image. More light = less exposure needed = more fps. I wondered about that too, but thinking about it, it totally makes sense. :)
