Great video. But I am also confused, there is no time limit to complete the research "but you have to claim it before the end of November", what do you mean? Personally I'd prefer to save my radar for something more worthwhile than Heatran. Should I just complete the quest, claim the radar and then unequip it until further notice?

That's correct. If you don't want Shadow Heatran, you can just stop at page 12/19 and wait to progress until the next rotation.

Shadow shinies are incredibly rare; it basically comes down to a numbers game. You’ll want to defeat all Grunts to collect components for Rocket Radars, which allow you to battle the Team Leaders. They have the best shiny rates, as mentioned in the video. Along the way, you might also get a full-odds shadow shiny from one of the eligible Grunts.

Even without a flying fast move Shadow Salamance is the second best Flying type raid attacker below Dragon Ascent Ray and about on par with Oblivion Wing Yveltal. If you get a good IV one I would double move it wait for December to get Outrage on it just in case Niantic decides to mess with moves and use the second slot to switch between Fly and Draco Meteor.

hello yea 0/0/0 shadow will do more dps than a 15/15/15 normal. however, when pokemon are in shadow form, they do lose their defence by 20% as well. therefore, unless you are using them for raid purposes, they might not be as good 😔🙏 hope this helped
