Hello Thrift Lou Hoo (haha I like your screen name). This is a really good idea. I'm thinking maybe this is what I'll do for 6 lowball rocks glasses I need to pack. I'll put them kind of tight and nested with just a cardboard grid between each glass (like wine bottles in a case of wine) and then I'll pack that box inside another box with newspaper all around. Do you think that would be a good idea that would be tough enough to survive shipment? Mugs are probably sturdier because they're usually thicker than glasses.... Thanks in advance for replying when you can!

Play day today uh...lol. I ship them in a 10 x 6 x 6 with the big bubble wrap and never had a problem, let's keep hoping that always going to arrive safe to the customer. :) Great fun video.

I'm sure that was a time consuming video but very well done! I think it goes to show that despite best efforts, we really can't control what happens after the package leaves our hands. We can pack it for the first 3 scenarios, but what could be done on the 4th?!

I agree. I was surprised that the mugs lasted that long. Means if they are getting smashed it definitely takes alot of force. Thanks so much for watching

I wrap cardboard around my mug. than bubble wrap and set upright. in the box with bubble or/and paper around it. No issues so far. I set them up right just to help weight on top not be a factor. Like an egg standing upright. Enjoyed the video. :)

Hi Doyle 😀 Hi Julian 😀I have to pack 6 lowball rocks glasses and was wondering if you would use the same method to pack 6 glasses together...? Wrap cardboard around each of the six and then wrap each cardboard bundle in bubble wrap and THEN put paper in between each of the 6 bundles and well as above and below the glasses? And would you sit them all upright or would it not matter once they're all wrapped? Thanks so much for the video, Julian. I use air bladders and bubble wrap and Styrofoam..I keep all packing materials i find.

I think you should have used something more breakable, like a wine glass. I have a lot of barware to sell (beer glasses, wine glasses, decanters) and plan to double box them.
