What lengths and weights are your sink tips generally. How deep do you like to fish your flys,will the coho come up thru the water column for them? I use mfc wide gap jig hooks for leeches,with a tungsten bead. Tied on with a loop knot,gives a lot of action to the fly. Have you tried jig hooks with your flys.
