Today we are looking at all of the PAID Skate 3 DLC Maps. Im leaving it up to you to decide which is the best Skate 3 DLC Map. The DLC Maps we are looking at include:
San Van Party Pack (Art Gallery)
Danny Way's Hawaiian Dream
Black Box Distribution
Maloof Money Cup 2010 NYC
I didnt include Sanitorium After Dark DLC because its free. (Great park, lots to work with, its a night park, and free.)
I play my Skate 3 game on the Xbox One X just in case anyone was wondering. I enjoy doing Skate 1, Skate 2 and Skate 3 Challenges, so let me know if there are any ones that you would like me to see. (I prefer ones that have never been done before)

There was an Own The Lot at that huge Skate Park in Art Gallery which was incredibly hard for me. Mainly because of the final challenge

The sanvan party pack dlc is definitely the best. The huge art gallery map with a ton of out of bounds spots, the huge zen plaza park editor template map with some fun built in spots around the edges, and local party play. More than worth the $7

Danny way's Hawaiian dream also has a secret pool with a decent sized mega ramp into another pool, overall, in intended park locations, its pretty sweet

Your argumentation makes perfect sense Toasty! From a content perspective the Maloof park really has the least to offer. It may be a legendary spot, but that doesnt automatically justify a higher price. People would probably rather pay 50 bucks just to skate one spot over and over again, instead of having the ability to mess around on 100 different spots. IMO the variety of stuff to skate and to spend time on, correlates directly with the price and one single spot has the much higher potential of getting you bored quickly. Of course some people may get more satisfaction from skating just a legendary spot and thus value it with a higher price, but I personally think a certain variety and range of possibilities can give you much more joy than just one single spot.

It's all about content/value. I think the best thing to do is just buy a used copy of Skate 2 for $5. You get a whole game for less than the price of DLC. And it has its own great DLC maps too.

I agree and i vote based on how much time you can spend in a park until you get bored..i usually begin at black box for realistic stuff, i spend the most time at black box and strange parks i built...after i go to random spots anywhere for arcade type stuff...my fav things in black box is the big wall ride to stall and pyramid...good vid.

The reason it feels empty is so you can get creative. Even like the actual spots like dew tour or the berrics or sls are pretty empty when you’re actually there so skaters have to be creative with their short lines or just one uping at one spot

Toasty just curious... how long will you be doing Skate 3 videos? I love your channel and all your videos but, seriously, will you be transitioning into another skateboarding game? Not leaving by any means, Nightspeeds turned me onto your channel, and he is doing different skateboarding games. Any updates of what you might he doing in the future? Hopefully the PS5 has something going on. I wish that #Session was part of the PS4 but not happening as of now. What are you going to do man?

I’ll probably continue doing Skate 3 and other skateboarding games like I have been. Plus other games / or video ideas for variety. I’ll be doing some Session videos when the early access is available. How many videos depends on the amount of content available. I’ll do even more when the game gets a full release. It will be the same with Skater XL. But I might check out a few modded maps of Skater XL here and there until the game gets some updates.

I feel like they didn't know where I was coming from, so this is as much as a response to them as any critics. Th art gallery was definitely my favorite dlc, when you glitched out the map, the skateable area outside the fences was huge, with some sick spots from the previous skate games. I liked Hawaii dream a lot too.

If I wanted realism I'd sesh a knee high rail and a 3ft quarter for hours on end. Skate 3 has the perfect balance of everything being skateable and having a flow without doing the Tony hawk "every wall is a vert ramp" thing. The scaling of this map and the fact it would take 10minutes in the park editor to create just makes it a bad dlc Ironic people calling you a poser when any skater would prefer to find a stairset or rail in the wild over a "street themed park". competition parks like maloof are what skaters settle for because it's easy and all in one place. Having it in a game about a skating paradise is pretty pointless

Although one thing I find strange about the American saying “I could care less” is that by saying that, it implies that If you could care less that means you care. In the U.K. we have the same saying but it’s “I couldn’t care less”, which implies that you literally just don’t care about what ever topic is being discussed. The real problem with the Maloof dlc is that it's too large. If the street section was the exact same, just closer together/more compacted it would be better. It's got too much empty space. It's like they teach you in art classes, you need to fill in your blank canvas with something. Too much of a blank canvas and your piece seems really lacking.

Hawaiian Dream is full of it, the art gallery has a big skatepark with a decent amount of it, also the regs park has some mini ramps, along with some other things scattered around, Maloof has a good vert area, the sanitorium has the diy park from skate 1 which is a big bowl, and the black box dlc has a little bit for flow.

Toasty Ghost I’ve known about the extra area for a bit I think that could be possible but the roll away is probably really steck, also you can clear the fence as jumping off you board without speed over to the extra dlc area, me and my friend play it online all the time but also at the top of map it gets cut off a little

Lol I honestly didn’t know maloof had that skatepark inside... I would load it up and go down the main stair set once and look at how dumb the park is. This DLC was a cash grab they used the maloof spot to get people to buy because skateboarding was still super mainstream then. Remember this is the game that had party play and then removed it and sold it in the San van party pack dlc and also had dlc to 100 percent the game for you
