Best small city in Spain - Marbella or Estepona?

Marbella definitely offers more but Estepona is just getting started and can be a completely different place in 5-10 years!

What are your thoughts on property prices? On the research I did, prices seem similar for a nice looking 3 bed flat. Is it worth to spend the money on something in Estepona but you can get the same in Marbella? If you invest in Estepona will the price go much higher than Marbella? I’m trying to figure out the same thing as you guys. 🙂✌🏻

Great video. Top lads. I love East Marbella, very calm, idylic and within 20 mins of La Cala and Marbella and Fuengirola. Estepona looks superb. I need to go now.

Neither Estepona or Marbella are the best small cities in Spain. Both are modern kitschy cities that are just for partying and home to many rich people. There old towns are very small given the fact that the cities populations grew by around 10 times in the last 70 years. There are many many other small cities in Spain that are miles better like Tarifa, Teruel, Medina-Sidonia, Ubeda, Baeza, Guadix, Ronda, Baza (not to be confused with Baeza), Carmona, Iznajar, and many more.

Estepona, hands down.. Marbella is too fake, chintzy, pseudo sophisticated....Estepona still retains Spanish authenticity.
