Admittedly, its been years since I've been their, and currently its in the news for the wrong reason, but the times I've been to Whitesburg Kentucky I always felt like it was a nice little town. I also thought it was Pretty. Now Williamstown Kentucky isn't as Pretty as Whiteburg but its not a bad place to live. While I don't know much about it I stopped to eat once in La'Follete Tennessee and thought it was very Pretty countryside and for some reason that I can't figure out I got the impression that it was Peaceful as well. Don't know if its really that way or if I was just enamored with the Countryside.

As a British student who got a visa to work in the US in the summer of 1980, I ended up in Denver (inspired by Jack Kerouac) and (after nearly running out of money) got a job working as a busboy at Ruszels (a really nice French owner) in the financial district. In our spare time, we travelled around Colorado. The place I liked was Boulder. I have often thought since then, how nice it would have been to have studied for a Masters degree at the university there.

This video stirred something deep within me. There’s something truly magical about small towns, isn’t there? They each have their own story, a heartbeat that can only be felt by those who visit. As you were talking about places like Fair Hope and Eureka Springs, I couldn’t help but wonder - what’s it really like to live there, to wake up every day surrounded by such beauty and history? Does it feel like time slows down, or do you still feel the rush of life? I feel like these places could change you forever.
