Hi, I've been watching your videos. Thanks for all of them. Anyway... I've been looking for a projector. My boyfriend is building our campervan and he really wants one. I wanted to make him a gift. The problem is I don't know what kind of electric system he builted and to be 100% sure I thought to buy a built-in battery proyector just in case we cannot charge it. So we can watch plugged or not. But there are so many in the market and none of them looks like fitting for us. We just watch Netflix and KZbin. Nothing else. I was going for the nebula capsule 3 but pushed me back the reviews about how to watch Netflix (download the nebula app, restart every Netflix's app upload or download the old APK etc...), and just 300lumes. For the price (900€here)I thought it is a big issue. I don't care about the price I will pay for, but i need the best; do you have any suggestion about what can I buy just for watch inside the van in the night, good quality, built-in battery, with netflix installed? And not slow, as many xgimi are mentioned as slow processor Thanks in advance

Hi - I use one of these, but I did have to swap the plug with the one off the mains lead to fit the projector. You may be able to find one that has multiple different ends. amzn.to/3uXN8ii

@@ExploreVanUK Hi very useful vid so much so that I have bought one of these projectors. However, the link for the powersupply seems to be for a 5.5mm x 2.1mm How did you get it to fit? I ask as my that size doesn't fit mine seems to be smaller... probably 4.0mm x 1.7mm. Frustratingly the actual size isnt specified on Banggood or Blitzwolf websites :(

Worth checking but pretty sure that VAT is now included on the Banggood for U.K. purchasers. You are right you could be liable for import duty (but we’ve never had to pay any and we have had quite a few things from them now) they did have an option at one point to insure against import duty which might be worth looking at for a few pounds. Returns may be a concern, thankfully we’ve not had a problem with any of their products so far, but their customer service for questions and advice has been pretty good.

Hi - You will need to contact Banggood, I am not aware of any spares being available. 10,000 hours is over a year of 24/7 continuous usage, so I'd be surprised if under normal use it fails due to usage.

Looks like the BYINTEK P20 or P19 is the closed thing to this now. Did you do a comparison with the viewsonic M1 mini you had?

They do look similar. This one is still available but the price does seem to have increased. www.banggood.com/custlink/mmKC61Yg2K I didn't do a video to compare it direct to the M1 Mini but I did have them at the same time. Whilst the M1 Mini was a good little unit there were a few niggles that meant this one was my choice to use. For example the M1 Mini had no tripod screw making it hard to mount, it had no buttons on the unit (only the remote control) which got fiddly, it only had vertical keystone so had to be directly in front of the screen, the version we had didn't include smart features so we had to have a firestick plugged into it, although we could sync the firestick to a bluetooth speaker you couldn't connect the M1 Mini direct to a Bluetooth speaker other than by wire if watching a media stick or other HDMI source.

Did you find this one brighter than the M1, it's labeled as considerably brighter but wonder if this is true. What is the fan noise like? Many thanks. Always check your channel for my van living questions and find gems like this! :)

No problem at all, glad to be helpful. I would say the brightness was about the same, certainly not a huge difference between the two. Fan noise, if I remember correctly the M1 Mini had two settings normal and eco, in eco it was very quite but was less bright. On the Blitzwolf you can adjust the fan setting without altering the brightness. I have always run into. The lowest and not had a problem, but may be in hot weather you might have to speed it up. Either way I wouldn’t say the fan noise was significantly worse on either of them. Yeah as you’ve seen the M1 Mini is now available as the M1 Mini plus with smart features included, it’s a bit more money and we’ve not tied it but I would definitely go with that over the basic model.

If it is shaded then yes I would say so. In the demo the room is bright (one side full length glass). So probably similar conditions.

Hi yes, it has a HDMI in, so it would work. However depending what you are playing you may find the refresh rate / lag may be noticeable. But you would have to spend a lot more to get a projector with a higher rate for gaming.
