The biggest issues I've had with the cheap projectors so far are horrible latency on the HDMI where the video is several hundred milliseconds behind the audio) where there is clearly a sync mismatch, and all the built-in Android TV apps (besides youtube) only being in 480p and not 1080p. Have you tested these?

You've totally over-stated The Capsule 3 Laser's ability to be used in brighter environments. Outside at dusk, the picture is going to be viewable but noticeably washed out. It's got to be pretty dark to get a great picture. With the longer days of summer, this means you'll be out late if you want to watch outside. Otherwise, it is a great projector. Nate, my autistic son uses an ancient vcr and tapes everyday. Is it possible for me to download all his tapes and have him play them on this projector? The tapes are almost 30 years old, and I need a more modern way for him to play them. He is unable to use DVDs.

I have a refurb capsule 1 and I love it. The laser definitely will look better, but my little soda can sized one works great and is a cheaper option. It lasts around 4hrs, nebula projectors are pretty metal!!!

Hey mr product guy ! Nice video , I looked at these but I think they are pretty dear for the amount I watch TV , which is normally using the laptop or iPad - one thing you didn’t cover which is useful to know is - how bright are they in the van in The daytime . If it’s still clear with my two skylights and two side window and cab windows with daylight I would be interested. The laptop is still ok in these conditions and a screen projection of say 32” would be ok, given the daylight. I can see van people having these as standard like solar panels in a few years. Thanks

how good are the web browser apps available through the nebula app /android tv environment? can you sideload android tv apps downloaded from other sources or are you locked in to stuff available on nebula server? would rather not have to do this by mirroring a phone or tablet (though, am separately curious about mirroring a phone or tablet.). thanks for a cool video!

I have the Capsule 1 and have upgraded to the Capsule 3. It’s coming tomorrow and I will use it in my campervan too. Only thing I heard was that Netflix doesn’t work on it yet. Has an app now appeared for it?

@@emcaughan008 Yes definitely. The C1 only had manual focus and wasn’t that bright. It did have good battery life though. The other generations were brighter but battery life was a lot less. The Capsule 3 Laser has superb autofocus, is brighter and has decent battery life too.

the capsule 3 looks cool for sure but it is too expensive for 300 iso lumens (what is the brightness rating in ansi lumen??). my aaxa p6x can easily out-bright that and it costs less than hald of the capsule 3... it's also portable with a huge battery

It’s 300 ANSI lumens not iso lumens. The Cosmos Laser 4k is the one measured in iso lumens.

Mars 2 is way better in terms of picture and quality, but it isn’t really portable at all compared to the capsule 3… I chose the capsule 3 for the portability alone

HDMI/usb-c port. You can put movies on a flash drive and play them. You can also screencast/mirror your phone to the projector Lots of ways
