Thats a pretty neat device and something I have been looking for for quite some time! The cheaper ones are a pain to use when you have a case on a phone etc, so this one really does look very VERY impressive. Thanks for the video!

I must admit I have seen these and I think it is a very nice bit of kit, a little on the expensive side from Manfrotto site but nice, very handy and compact. Better price on Amazon.

Also what about Portrait mode. Does this clamp extend to hold the smartphone in portrait mode on the top and the bottom of the phone or do you have to setup the clamp to hold the smartphone on each side of the device? I ask because I am trying to find a smartphone clamp that has the 1/4 female screw on the bottom, hot shoe on the top and holds the phone in portrait mode for shooting videos. As well does this for landscape.

Wow, I would not have known that if you hadn't pointed it out! I have no use for such a gadget but I would like something to hold my phone just to view things. I was browsing the Manfrotto site and saw this and was greatly perplexed as to it's great price. Pretty expensive but quality!

The same thing, for those, who going to buy it, don't even think about it, it looks smooth and costly, but wobbling will disappoint you, and you can't fix it, it just design defect.

This may have been the best product at the time, but the new "Glif" by Studio Neat beats it hands down for size, weight, ease of operation, and clever design. The Glif also has a much better locking mechanism that means you don't have to stuff around size screw mechanisms and size adjustments.

Yes, that is a problem with most mini tripods.
