this guy needs to be getting way more views for the production quality

I bought the Tekton version and it work amazing for my Milwaukee chrome sockets, I love them. Plus the Tekton wrench organizer are great.
@philchristmas40713 ай бұрын
Definitely buy the Ernst, don't waste your money on the widgets.
@DemoDad1013 ай бұрын
I’ve got both now and I like the widgets more. But yeah…huge investment in the widgets.

As a tech who has had these Socket Boss trays for years, all that “wasted space” gets filled up pretty quickly with the oddball tools like the 19.5mm/18.5mm socket for removing swollen Ford/Chrysler lugnuts, short extensions, universal joints, adapters and reducers, sensor sockets, ect.
@loganwork70245 ай бұрын
You can add and remove extra clips for the sockets that dont fit. It takes a little longer to set up than the toolbox widget but its also less than half price and made in the usa
@DemoDad1015 ай бұрын
Yeah, I did that throughout the video as you can see a pile of them on the bench but since I did much of this on 10x speed...it's easy to miss!

some of that so called dead space could be utilized using the ratchet and extension attachment id call the this system as good if not better then widgets keeps tools organized and stays mobile at the same time as well as the extension and ratchet attachments.

Diesel mechanic here. Trays win any day. Few guys have widget and permanent try system and they all regret the setup. Cant refund or toss out, huge investment thats permanent after use. We bang up everything and so does the trays and sockets. We get in and out, under back and forth working on tractor trailers. Haveing wrenches sockets on trays to grab saves our backs. Lots of these guys are missing tools from the permanent tray setup also. Dont know you left a tool til you get back to you box and realize the tractor or trailer is gone with it.
@DemoDad1012 ай бұрын
Those are very good points. I usually check all the fasteners with a gauge and only bring the tools I need with me. Most of the stuff I do takes place with my toolbox only a few feet away.

Why not leave them in the foam tray?? I get what you were doing.. but why pay extra for sockets that are organized
@DemoDad1012 ай бұрын
The foam isn’t as portable or secure in transport. The foam also isn’t even remotely as efficient in terms of space utilization.

Not a wear mark one or scratch on anything in that box. How is that even possible?

The Capri sockets and organizers in this video were brand new.

JMO, but I still think the peg organizers are the best. I have the Olsa tools peg rails to hold my seconds and 12-points as well. But I like just looking at the size on the peg, pulling it off, and dropping it back on when I'm done. Again, just my personal preference. Great vid, man!

Toolbox widget when the socket rail costs more than the socket 2024 version of more money than brains club.
@DemoDad1015 ай бұрын
That’s a popular opinion held by many. Oddly enough all of those people haven’t experienced the product though. I can tell you it’s much cheaper to invest in TBW than buy a second box or trade for a larger box because you need more space to accommodate your collection AND your inefficient storage systems. That goes triple for people spending stupid money on Snap-On tier boxes.
