Great detail and compressed information, thank you. However, I am wondering if there is a particular reason you do not include the RENOGY Brand in your assessments, other than you just can't review every brand available? I just purchased 3 of their 80w foldable panels and they work great, I also bought the Phoenix 500 lithium ion power box and am pleased also. Granted I've not even had them a full week. It took me ages, literally a couple years to jump in to this market after a so-so experience with the first little one I bought, a GoLabs 300 in 2019. The RENOGY were all on sale and that was my push. Plus, they been in business for a decade or so, and that sat well with me. Anyway would love to hear your thoughts on this brand, if any. Thank You, Kris, for all you do, as always, MUCH appreciated! Cheers

I have a tremendous amount of Anker products in my home, between portable power bricks, to soundcore earbuds, to USB adaptors and so on. I'll say both their quality and customer service has been second to none, so this review putting the 767 on top doesn't completely surprised me as I've been eyeballing that unit since it was released and watching many reviews. I'll say I'm glad my own research was confirmed through this review as I respect your channel and content immensely. You have the rare talent of simplifying technical information into a format that's consumable for everybody. Thank you for what you do.

I’ve watched all your solar generator videos and taken a lot of info in about them. I will mention even with battery expansion you are still only limited to what the unit can support no matter the amount of storage. I decided to get a second unit rather then the expansion battery since it doubled amount of devices, and the amount of charging which reduces the overall draw off one unit. Pecron stood out to me by price point, storage, and charging. 1300 watts charging in less then 2 hours at peak. I will add the panels come with 16 foot cords so your generator can be safely inside the house. Again thank you for all that you do. Looking forward to your next video.

I’m pretty sure you are the best communicator of technical information that I’ve ever heard. In 1993 I made a 1500 W solar generator that used a high capacity lead acid battery. The cost me $500 (odyssey battery) and I showcased it on national television in Canada live for 15 minutes. It’s amazing how the world has evolved.

I now have a Delta Pro with 2 additional backup batteries. I had an Ecoflow transfer switch installed with six 120 volt circuits available. That provides me with about 13 kwh of power (I believe). Your energy needs may be very different than mine. I am particularly concerned with hurricane blackouts, since I live in Florida. I have 580 watts of portable solar panels, which is skimpy. But it fits my needs. Great products!

I have about 800 W of solar panels. I was on the list for an Inergy 1500 expandable charger, but there was a substantial shipping delay the ship date, it was only 1500 W and was Lithium Ion, not LiFePo4 so I went with the Bluetti kick starter. I’ve purchased the new battery., the 90 amp hr one in addition to the regular 70 amp battery and will start with 2000 watts from solar, it’s important to note that you will most likely get 80% efficiency from those panels so you can use a volt meter and add more that 2k worth of panels., more like another 4, one one each end of the two 1k kits each having 5 panels., so 7 panels each instead of 5, and it will work better., also I hope to not go past 50% of the batteries to keep them from being overworked.

I have been a part-time van dweller since 2018 and a self-described nerd. I have used many different solar generators in search of the "perfect" one. I use a large solar generator for my house battery and typically carry a smaller unit for portable use, like powering a TV outside the van. I purchased the crowd-sourced version of the Bluetti AC 200 (that version was 1700 watts), and I also have a smaller EB3A. Both are innovative and well-built but use significant power when idling with DC power on (AC inverter off). If you have the units plugged into permanent solar panels, such as my roof-mounted ones, this will automatically turn them on, so it is hard to turn everything off to conserve power. For instance, my AC200 can drop over 10% in a night if I don't completely shut it down. That is not typical of other solar generators that I have used. Otherwise, it is a good unit. Over a year ago, I switched to a Pecron E3000 unit (no longer available on Amazon), and I have to say that I'm super pleased with it. It manages power loss much better than the AC200 and has performed flawlessly since I have had it. It is basic, but I don't require more than that. I recommend the Pecron if you can still find it. It was a great value for its massive 3KW capacity.

I was interested in seeing what you said about the Point Zero Titan. I have had this unit for 2 years and just got my 5th battery for it. What I love about it is that it is so simple to use, especially in an emergency situation. I, personally, don't want all the bells and whistles. It is heavy, but it is easy taken apart for transporting. We use it on our RV when boon docking. We went on a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains last week for 7 days and 6 nights. We have 200Ah of lithium batteries on our RV. We plugged the RV into the Titan with 4 batteries (turning off the house converter). At the end of the week, we had 28% of the house batteries left and 48% of Titan left. Next time, I will only take 3 Titan batteries. Thanks for your review of all these machines.

You would want the flex solar panels so you would not need to take that many batteries with you., or instal 5-7 rigid panels., for air conditioning it would be useful to have that many batteries.

If I need information on prepping, this is one of my top choices for equipment recommendations. Chris, your thorough reviews are exceptional. The main reason I love your opinions is that you don't sell products through your site. Recommendations, yes. But when a site sells supplies or equipment, they have a built-in bias towards those products, you don't, and I respect you immensely for that. Could I suggest a future video addressing how you'd deal with a power grid or internet going down for an extended time and if any generator would work whet SHTF?😊

Started with the EcoFlow River Max in spring of 2021. Loved it for running the Iceco fridge (VL60S) and charging small devices (phone, tablet, smartwatch). Only issue was putting out the solar panel every other day and running the risk of not having power (and ruined food) if it was cloudy for more than a day. Upgraded to the Delta Max in December 2022, just before the Delta 2 hit the market. It runs my fridge and allows me to take my Keurig with me as well. Delta Max runs the fridge and coffee machine, River Max for charging the phone, tablet, AirPods and smartwatch. I've been camping with these two power stations for 5 days and still have 30-40% left on both upon returning home, without having to put out the solar panels even once. It has proven to be the perfect combo for my off grid camping needs.

Great video. In the first 10 years or so that we were in our house, we would only lose power 2-3 times a year. And never for more that a couple hours. In the last 2 years I have lost track of the number of times we have lost power for more that 8 hours. The last 3 outages have been for 9, 27 and 15 hours. We recently invested in the Bluetti AC300 and although we haven't had to use it, we are glad we did. We just don't have the confidence in the grid that we used to.

I purchased two Ecoflow Delta Pros from costco last month. I was using one as an EPS for my garage freezer. The second never worked as an EPS out of the box, it would pass through the wall AC power, but eventually the Delta Pro would gradually drain battery power and never top itself off. Tech support took 1-2 weeks of emailing back and forth (they are in China and only respond in the middle of the night here in the US). Ended up sending the faulty Delta Pro in for warranty replacement. All this time the first Delta Pro was working fine as an EPS, then just 3 days ago it stopped topping itself off and the battery started to slowly drain. I boxed it up and returned it to Costco. Waiting on the warranty replacement to arrive so I can return that to Costco as well. In the end I'm probably going with a Franklin Whole Home battery backup system (27 kwh, 2 battery system) for about $22k after tax credit. A little more expensive than a fully expanded Ecoflow system (2 Delta Pro, 4 extra batteries, 1 smart home panel, plus electrician install) but it will use my home solar system for charging.

Wow, that was a lot of information. In 2022 I bought two of my 4 children the Pecron after your initial review. My son loves it and uses it daily to power the TV and the gaming station his kids use. He also asked for a second solar panel and as of now he couldn’t be happier. I also bought my youngest daughter the Jackery, it is nice and light and they do camp a lot living in the mountains of Colorado. The only thing that was disappointing was the charging cycles. It only has 500 before it decreases where as the Pecron has 3500. Lastly I bought my oldest daughter the Bluetti because we are sending my RV to her in Alaska and it has the 30 amp plug in. As of now it is still in the box so I can’t give a review. I do know it is heavy and I can hardly move it around. Her husband will have no problems with it. I also bought the 600 watt Bluetti to send them as well since they do go ice fishing and camping a lot in Alaska. The hard part with them living in Alaska is I couldn’t find anyone who would ship to them, that is why we are taking the RV up there to enjoy through the summer and get the Solar Generators to them. All in all, it has been your recommendations that have helped me order these generators. Now all I need to do is figure out the best one for me and my 87 year old mother. But your videos have helped me understand so much more about solar generators and caused me to decide that all 4 of my children need one. Thank You again for all your wonderful videos. Be Blessed.

Question: did you ever have a chance to go back and update the spreadsheet to indicate which solar generators can charge from solar even when they've been fully discharged? The best bang for your buck that will charge with solar would most likely be the Titan., 80% efficiency so three 1k solar kits (200 watt panels X 5 panels)for maximum solar power. So you end up with 15 200 watt panels for 3000 dollars.
