I agree the original RE2 soundtrack is the best. Compared to that, the Remake OST is so insipid. I missed the RE Outbreak ost, the main theme is so haunting.

For me the best of Re2 OG is the saving room, so iconic. And Re2 remake despite being so "silent" the best one is Collapse, the track when Leon escapes the lab. So intense! And the music suddenly turns up to 11 when the Tyrant shows up. Also both nemesis final metamorphosis from both re3 are my favs, along with the save room theme.

Personally, I think CVX has the best soundtrack of all RE games. OG RE2 is definitely up there though. I don't blame you for choosing that soundtrack as your favorite. The code is Veronica is my favorite track of the series. My top 5: 1. The code is Veronica 2. Theme of Alexia type 2 3. Nemesis final metamorphosis (both OG/Remake) 4. Saddler theme OG RE4 5. OG RE2 save room theme(also RE3re version)
