For a spell based build, are "Critical Hit Chance" and "Critical Hit Chance for Spells" effectively the same thing? Same question for "Critical Damage Bonus" and "Critical Spell Damage Bonus". I was under the impression you had to use the "spell" variant, but that seems to not be the case.

Short answer: Yes. Long: Critical Hit Chance and Critical Damage Bonus affects all types of dmg, the Spell versions only spells.

Nice. I pushed your build up to 96 as well, but my mana is only around 8.6k, or 6.8k with temporalis (109 rarity and max resists). DPS isn't close to yours, but it still melts the juiciest maps around. Temporalis is actually necessary in my opinion, due to sometimes being unable to cast for some unknown reason. Blink away and you can start casting again

I transitioned last night from ES to Int Stacking with your crit variant. All i am missing to replacate your setup is the Megalomaniac and the Mirror wand. I am sitting at 380k DPS and 10.4k Mana. I am using the unique shield also but its quite a huge DPS difference compared to yours. I thought i would have at least 700-800kdps.

Hi Nick, you don't need that much spirit for blink. If you set your conductivity to weapon set 2 (your staff) then you can just cast conductivity and immediately blink before the cast animation - free blink.

A weapon set-specific set of points spent, they are the weapon set 1 and 2 toggles on the upper right part of your passive skill tree, but I have no idea what the OP gives up to get them, since the Mobalytics build just shows green on top of like a full set of points allocated so it's way too many. I have no clue what to give up to assign the 24 green points with...I hate assumed knowledge in things that are supposed to be tutorials. :(

the game doesnt do crit chance the way you think it does in other games. For example, if he has 10% crit chance and his wand has 100% crit chance on it, you would add the 100% to the 10% base, BUT not in the way you think it is, you would not be at 110% crit chance, but you would be at 20%, why ? You would be adding 100% of 10%, which means 10%, which means you are only adding 10% to the 10% because it is the full 100% value of the base 10%

I tested this build the other night just now, even if its saying it does over 1 million dps it feels weaker than the max roll build, all the passive skills dont display the DPS with the maxroll build, problem im noticing the spark is a lot slower with this build and hits in a smaller radius making it seem weaker. Think its a classic case dont follow what the numbers are saying, most of the max roll stats dont display its real numbers! I killed the final trial sekhamas boss in 1 second with the max roll build, ill test it with this build and see how long it takes that will tell me everything I need to know!

@ I think you can start building towards it now, just don’t take Eldritch battery and mind over matter until you get the everlasting gaze amulet (start with lower rolled one for cheap). You won’t take chaos inoculation for a while until you have good gear.
