This video is a great example of how the Meta is just that... shaving seconds or adding .1% more damage or healing into the entire M+ instance or pull or boss encounter. Including Jdotb as a shining example for the conversation of "which is better" from a "Keepers of the Grove" perspective is exactly the argument that needs to happen. Learning another playing style like jumping from KotG to Wildstalker also can be disheartening as it requires a different style of play... you have to get closer, which can ruin positioning or cause you to be in danger more. Wildstalker works amazingly when all your other teammates are doing what they're supposed to, including their own defensives, healing pots, health stones, not standing in puddles and dodging and/or performing mechanics correctly. Keep the videos coming, I enjoy your insight on the class/spec/hero.

I love resto Druid it’s my favorite healer! But I’m playing Mistweaver which is doing really well like my Druid because they are fun! I’m having a blast with Mistweaver! The goal is to have fun and if your good player it won’t be a problem! So play resto druid, MW holy pally and you’ll blast!

I feel you, but in most cases its more dangerous to stay out when stay in meele: leap mechanic, no aoe heals, harder to dodge frontals, hard to watch for patrols...When things start to hurt badly, lone players who stay far away, start to die easy

@@Muziejininkas I have another option on this - when staying far away I am exactly the one with the big picture seeing and calling out patrols, frontals etc. I understand your point of being melee reduce the risk of bodypulls but imo I feel way more safe and in control while I’m ranged 🙏

@@gabrielgm244 In keys I do use it, but primarily as a filler on the keys I’m running atm 12-13. I use the priority spells and then dps. In most cases I don’t need to use rejuvenation to keep everyone up, cause I run HoTW prog build - but in damage heavy dungeons like CoT or SV I use rejuv parred with Flourish quite often for mastery boosting while moving / getting ready for big aoe’s etc. Good question though - sad I didn’t get to talk about it in my video.

@@CallMeChike Yeah, I'm a little lower ilvl on my resto druid and currently only on 10 with it. I've tried some double rejuv build and could get quite a lot of passive healing done this way (can't get out of huge regrowth percent healing though). It clearly works better when you know the damage pattern and when you have time to top off people.

@@timoschiel2951 So to be honest I recommend playing whatever spec fits your playstyle. For me keeper was very nice - because I did not know the dungeons and it felt very unsafe to go into catform to do damage. Usually me going into catform ment that I would fall greatly behind in healing. So I played Keeper until keylevel 12/13 where people stopped taking unnecessary damage and actually knew the dungeons. And I started to know the dungeons too. In that case I had a lot of downtime where everyone was healthy and I was spamming wrath 😅 So I talked to Vickman and tried out his build and ye, fits my playstyle better now in high keys - even though on paper I’m still a bigger fan on Keeper playstyle 🙏🌱

@@MrKaltez I 100% agree - Keeper of the grove is just the more safe pick when it comes to keeping distance and playing safe 🥳 then you can stay out of form, have trees split moonfires and spam starfire if you have time for dps 🌱🔥

ty for the vid. except it only confused me more. maybe because im in lower keys and people need more healing because of less interrupts and skill issue. im mainly healing and throwing starsurge, dots, and spamming wrath in between healing. any reason for starfire instead of wrath? i got get proc for free and instant casted wrath. Also my talent tree looks alot different, i use rejuv alot. personal pref i guess

@@MineColbyCraft You are welcome - good to have you here! In my personal opinion, for what you are telling me, it sounds like Keeper of the Grove is the build for your playstyle. Stay back, use starsurge and starfires. If you run dream of the cenarius you’ll heal off your dps as well - helps with maintenance. I use starfire on proc because it was AOE dmg to near by enemies = more dps and healing. I’m using wrath on procs for single target 💪 if you have any more questions or need suggestions based on your playstyle let me know! Personally not a big fan of rejuv builds, but that’s just me. Personal preference as you say 🫡 not even top 10 RDruids in the world play the same talents

I played restodruid Lot of expansions and there was some seasons that catweaving was really fun and did tons of dmg (i think was bfa). Now is hard to find a window to dps (mainly pugs) My thought is that wildstalker needs two things: tons of ilvl and a coordinated group

@@SaridanTV Ye cat’weaving was very strong in dragonflight as well. Like super S-tier also doing insane dps. Not the same class anymore, but still doable just in other formats imo. Keeper does bring some more safety and insane starfire dps imo, while Wildstalker can be more raw and confident output. It all depends on you wanted playstyle 🌱🐯 The 15 sec HoTW helps with dps windows no matter what hero talent you run - cause you heal of your dps for 15 sec 💪

Even for pugs I still prefer Wildstalker. Cat dps is heavily impacted when kicks and stop aren't on point, but I feel it would be the same as KOTG. Either way, there are plenty of safe pulls with predictable damage in pugs when you can catweave.

@@gabrielgm244 that’s a fair opinion. For me the cat’voke playstyle in wildstalker was amazing till I hit those pug 12’s and 13’s. From there I felt super unsafe in melee and had low control over the pulls / healing etc. Kinda got tunnel vision on doing dps and forgot to keep hots up etc, cause of the constant shapeshifting. But again, different players, different playstyles and talentbuilds. As long as your having fun on Wildstalker I say keep going 🐯💪

I’ve played both hero talent and I only pug. Kotg seems a bit more punchy with healing but with master shapeshifter and hotw you can still do some good dps. Struggling to complete 11 keys atm but my dps is improving but trying to strike the balance between healing a dps is hard sometimes.

TLDR: Windstalker is much stronger when you need healing and Keeper is better when you don't need healing. (even tho windstalker will be better in damage later on too) The reality for most people is that you won't need any damage as healer, you will be busy fighting the fails of your team and will need the healing.

In my position, I have time to do starfire spam every 1 min, and that’s why I personally like KoTG more ⭐️ will give wildstalker a chance again sometime, to see how the healing is without cat’vokes etc
