A heat sink does not keep your console cool. It only keeps the ssd from overheating. The consoles fan keeps the ps5 cool. 🙄

For those of you just now watching this video like me (late to the game) the very first product this video showcases does in fact come in a 2TB/1TB option but the pricing of all three is probably a lot more affordable now than when this was made. They are $289.99, $159.99, and $82.64. Maybe I found the wrong model but I thought it was the only one lexar offers with Heatsink.

SN850x with the heatsink. The heatsink it comes with is probably the best in the market, and it’s price to performance ratio is definitely one of the best.

It’s funny that the video is promoting host memory buffer even though the PS5 doesn’t support it and in fact, Sony’s documentation states that it could actually cause performance degradation.

Simple For PS5 ??? you're not gonna utilize all those bells and whistles .. you can go for cheapest M2 SSD Gen 4 that have atleast 6000MB/s Read .. you won't notice the difference IF you're leaning towards PC .. I recommend Either Samsung 980 Pro or WD Black SN850X , OR go for Fury Renegade don't waste ur money on super high end SSD if you gonna use it on the PS5

I have firecuda 2 tb. It’s quick , but I need more room. Unfortunately they feel the need to increase their 4tb version to almost double what the 2tb was. The only one that is running a good deal is Sony 990 pro. Also I’ve discovered that any of them that have a version without a heatsink is better , because you can buy your own for 1/5 the price they will charge you. Heatsinks are dirt cheap and easy to apply yourself. Western digital charges about $70 more for their heatsink version. Overpriced

Don't sleep on the nextorage ps5 ssd 2tb. You'll be surprised to know Sony and Fison (company responsible for chips in ssds) are behind the budget friendly behemoth. Love mine and have had no issues whatsoever. Just a consideration. 😅

Best SSD i've found with Best stock heatsink is Corsair MP600 Pro XT and yes you want the heatsink to stick out for better cooling and if your heatsink is lower Never closed the SSD bay cause this can fry ypu SSD and even PS5
