This could almost be called the best of the best review! The EBR M14 is the only rifle I carry now. Will be hard for me to have any other rifle. And the McCLarence Outfitters will be a must add for me as soon as I clear out some of my less used mods clogging up space. And I love the Stroud Premium Mod. This has been a good couple of weeks for great mods added to Creations! Thanks to all the SF modders!

Hi there ! Just a quick remark on SPE 1x1 habs, you can actually choose the module orientation by fliping it, top and bottom entry point are disable for 1x1 rooms x) anyway, thank you for all your mod reviews !

McClarence Outfitters wow! I been using the Gravis Suit for a while but it can’t be modified so McClarence looks like a good option, but then Shades N7 suits look fab. So much choice. Although I didn’t have an auspicious start to Miss O Plays buildable walls when she updated it, because I didn’t remove all the original walls and lost 3 outposts she has redeemed herself with her ship module mod. I hope she lets loose and adapts it with some of her own designs.

@ I used a mod for that in Fallout but I personally don’t think it’s needed for Starfield…depending on your display mate. I enjoy moonlight now lol

To create/modify gear like I want it (at the workbenches), I am using "darkstar manufacturing","legendary module recycler","starfield extended - craftable quality". I can also craft "crimson x", "varuun X". All of these mods loaded in this order. Nothing is destroyed. I can also put a better quality on apparel. Not just on weapons, suits, ... And also mods on Crimson X apparel, but not Varuun X. BTW: all free! No cool packs though...

@@SiNKiLLeR_ But I just noticed that "Darkstar manufacturing" and "legendary module recycler" don't work well together anymore. Still ok for weapons: I can chose which system to use to put a mod on a weapon. But for spacesuite workbench, only darkstar works. I can't put the "legendary module recycler" mod's anymore. And now I think of it, that happened probably after "Shattered Space".

McClarence outfitters reminds me of the Legendary crafting system they added to Fallout 76 and now that i see the comparison i am convinced even more that starfield is just 76 in space. the only reason its not multiplayer is because Bethesda struggles enough with providing meaningful content updates for 76 on the regular and if they had to do that for starfield too the developers would just quit.

I tried McClarence Outfitters on Xbox X and the dialogue for the quest never starts. The Neon dancer outfit is not present. I put it last in my load order and restarted 2 or 3 times, still wont work.

Yo Knight, I would uninstall the mod and make sure your in space with your save. Restart the game and install mod and restart the game again. Let me know if that doesn't work.

@SiNKiLLeR_ I saw some screenshots of the suit on a female character, and while it looks awesome, it very much highlights how odd and blocky and non-feminine the original female body is. Huge shoulders, hardly any hourglass shape, no emphasis on hips or waist, etc. It's really bad. The suit would look amazing on a more realistic ZBB body though. I don't understand how we went from Skyrim and Fallout 4/76 bodies to Starfield bodies. Even the men look bad; they all have dad bods and even at the highest muscle slider look unimposing.

I do wonder if with the Premium Stroud Eckland mods if the companions behave any different inside them. Does Sara behave any different in a Botany Lab? Do Cora go to her room that’s designated for her and that kind of thing with these newer mods. The first mod for McClarren Outfitters as far as all mods go is completely in a different league on its own.

I think Kinggatth really shows what we can do with lore, questing, and a sustainable amount of grinding. The function of the outfitter mod can be found in several free mods. So why buy it? Because the lore, the questing, the sustainable grinding all add to the game in a way that other other methods of accomplishing the same thing do not. Mods like outfitter, while paid, are what I think of and expect from a paid mod. Totally worth it.

So let me get this straight: If I have both McClarence and Legendary Module Recycler in my load order, the latter becomes pretty much obsolete? I haven't tested the McClarence mod yet, I don't know how it works compared to Legendary Module Recycler. So yeah.. Kinda wanna know if the Legendary Module Recycler can still be useful even if I have the McClarence mod in my load order.

Unpopular Opinion: I can’t fathom paying for mods. As someone who grew up when mods were free, these just feel like a money grab. Kinggath makes some really great stuff. It’s just the way Bethesda has opened the flood gates for “creations for credits” that has helped destroy desire for mod authors to create content that is genuine and free to use. That’s what mods were meant to be. Now there’s a paywall. Sure you’re supporting authors like Kinggath, but you’re also holding a blind eye to the greed of so many others milking this system for profit. This issue helps define the bigger problem with the gaming industry, which is my opinion. There has to be a balance between making money and making good games. Not selling bits and pieces of it for more to naive or ignorant gamers.

Milking this system? You've obviously never made a mod before. A quality mod is not something you can churn out in an automated factory line. It takes hundreds, if not, thousands of hours to create. I don't see any "greed" if someone wants a little kickback from the large time investment to create it.

Think a lot of other people can relate to the idea that spending a few dollars every time you want to test out a new creation is wild. Maybe these videos help pay for you to play them, but others don’t have that ability. That’s what was so great about mods.
