I find your micro-management approach just what I have been looking for. As I watch what you are doing, I'm beginning to understand game mechanics better . My m-m tip: I take the camera down to ground level and wander around before deciding where to build. The lay of the land will sometimes affect how I layout things, e.g., high ground for the manor house. Did subscribe, btw.

I actually enjoy the micromanaging because that is how i play myself, even more so than you. 😆 but i like how you pulled the map up and understood you had not only to plan for your region but the others right away as well. I also plan where my manor/castle will be built first even if i dont build it this way i can make it look all noble?? Haha

This game is pretty esoteric and there is noy really much content on it out there, but i think your guides and gameplay are the best out currently.

Something I learned the other day (which I expect may change in future updates): if a region has two rich resources, it won't have good farmland. If it only has one rich resource, it should have good fertility.

@GamingNorse i think he means you can force the wild animals into another part of the map by building to close to them. Not 100% sure on it, but it's what I took from the comment.

Welcome and thank you for subbing! :) you have to go to the families house and go to the people tab in the burgage. or select a job and go to the people tab. from there you press the assign and then click on the building where you want them to work. :)

You could have spooked the deer back to their original location if u wanted...it usually takes couple tries but it eventually spawns back to the original location

Thanks for this video. Your content is really cool. I have question for you as an expert of this game. I'm trying to produce sausages, because Vikings like sausages right ? I think I m having a bug somewhere. I'm trying to make as many saussages as possible. To see how it is working I have built 2 granaries : One to sell everything but meat and sausages on the market. This granny allows market stales but disallow meat and sausages storage. A second one only allowed to store sausages and meat and not allowed to create market stales. So normally I should never have meat or sausages on the market. But, it does not work, for a reason beyond my comprehension. I still have meat and sausages on the market. When I click on the people owning those food stales, they are all coming from the granary that dos not store meat and sausage... For the record, My hunting camps and butchers are obviously not allowed to create market stales either. Did you encounter such issues in your games so far ?

Vikings LOVE Sausaes! hehe When i recorded episode 5 of this series i literally noticed the same thing. Market stalls with food items they should not be allowed to have.... So maybe its a bug, or maybe the game just want to put as many options as possible on the market.. Not really sure to be honest. However, I'm pretty sure they are reworking and refining the market and how they should work. I will let you know as soon as i know more!
