Good video Akshat. Just one quick point here for your viewers. Booking profits attracts 15 percent short term tax. Reinvesting it then again where? Gold is at an all time high, real estate? Cmon. Bitcoin is 💩💩💩. It sounds all good theoretically when AS suggests booking small profits, but year down when you file your taxes, it makes no sense. Guys stay invested, buy on dips and hold for 30 years is the best bet! It's simple, make the tax guys wait for 30 years to collect even a 10 percent long term tax from you and grow your wealth using compounding. Selling on high and booking small profits is a mistake. Let me add one more thing, with time, you never know when a LT invester rewarding government comes to centre tomorrow and abolishes LTT, that may also happen it's always a big possibility in India that's when you can think of selling some and paying Zero tax. Until then just hold and keep buying more on dips and go to sleep 💤😴 for 30 years or when LTT gets abolished. Thanks AS, lovely video. You work very hard. ❤❤

Me and my buddy Raj were arguing the other day about where to put our money for retirement. He thinks India is the hot ticket, but I'm leaning towards the US.

It really depends on what you're looking for. The US market is like a seasoned pro - it's been around for ages and is pretty stable. You might not see huge growth spurts, but it's a safe bet for long-term investing.

Massive liquidity was injected in the market during Covid (Quantitative Easing), rates were down to practically 0-0.25%. The upcoming rate cut will be nothing close to that.
