My wife Ginger and I are two of the kids that help collect money for the USS Alabama. We were given a card for free admission that was good for our lifetime. We both got to use that card when we were kids. Later as adults, I was able to spend time with my son on an overnight sleepover on the ship with the RAs from our church. One of our chaperones had been stationed on the ship.

After traveling 30K in our RV, another 140K on motorcycles...saw areas that were only on secondary roads! One of our trips was 11K miles in 3 weeks coast to coast...was fabulous! LOVED EATING MOM AND POP'S places! Found some food better than New Orleans at a TRUCK STOP!! Bless all those who served and their families who lost loved ones! They are all treasured... my stepfather did 5 tours in Viet Nam...he was AWESOME!

I used to be a tour guide for the USS Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor. Was an honor to meet all the Arizona survivors who visited the site each year! This was in the 1980's. Very few survivors alive today if at all!

I did that Cat Scale thing on our last trip on purpose! But I made sure that the left half of both the truck and RV were off the scale on the first weigh ($13.50 US). Then I went back through, and did a second weigh (discounted price for a second weigh - $4.00 US). I did this, so that I could find out how well we were balanced, left to right. Turns out, we were within 200 pounds left vs. right for both truck and RV.

Great video! You both seem so much more relaxed for some reason. As for putting Tabasco sauce on eggs - absolutely! I put it on eggs (all kinds), Eggs Benedict (I have a funny story on that), Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, my breakfast Sausage, Egg & Cheese English Muffin each morning, and all Cajun dishes. I put Tabasco Sauce on Eggs Benedict at breakfast in a restaurant in Central Wisconsin one time. I kept glooping it on and a lady at the next table nearly passed out; she looked increasingly stricken with each "gloop". 😂 My friend thought I was crazy but being from New Mexico, spicy sauces on your eggs in the morning is normal for me. Marc's comment about doing all the driving because Trish was a "flight risk" had me rolling on the floor. But, hey, when you're the "Bee-Line Queen", you gotta keep rolling! Safe travels, y'all! Looking forward to the next one!

One demerit for each wheel on the curb. Two merits for each foot under 5, that each bumper is from the bumper ahead of and behind you. ie: 3 feet from bumper in front= 2 merits (2 feet less than 5). With Marc’s parking job it looked like 5 total merits minus 2 demerits for 2 wheels on curb = 3 merits which can be cashed in at cracker barrel for a free creamer with coffee purchase. So many great lines in this episode. Peloton just FLEW by!!

“Talk to me Goose!” 😂 I’m currently stationed in Pensacola, living in Beulah by that I-10 bridge at the state line, but I was out to sea when y’all passed through. Every time my wife and I drive across to Alabama she emulates the gps “Welcome to… Al-a-bam-a” 😂 - it’s a little delayed on that particular bridge for some reason though! I’ve been stationed along the Gulf Coast several times over the past decade, so it was nice to see some familiar stretches of I-10! Also glad you enjoyed USS Alabama, and found a family connection there!

It was so amazing how you started the video in Tampa leaving in the rain. We bought our Class A at LazyDays in Tampa. The last thing to do was get the car set up for flat towing. By the time we left LazyDays it was 5:15 pm on a Friday afternoon in the rain. I wasn't familiar with driving the RV. I still remember merging off RT 4 into I-75 in rush hour traffic and my wife telling me to be careful. To remember how much we had invested in all of this. Lol!!! That was not helping my stress level at all. Lol!!! 😂😂😂 A very kind lady backed off and let us merge out. We stayed the night at a Cracker Barrel in Brunswick Georgia.
