DMO is a beast. He can handle the dirty work. Gibbs can too but DMO is an integral part of the offense. Look back at some of the Lions' wins and DMO had many important plays in those wins.

You never know exactly how healthy you are until you're in a live game, and a Divisional round playoff is going to be all the more fast and violent. I think they'll limit/adjust carries compared to pre-injury Montegomery just to ease him into the physicality, timing, etc. The knee won't be in the only concern first game back.

Is it me, or does it seem like Doug lives in a fearful mood? If we play Gibbs too much, he'll get injured. If we don't play him enough, we'll lose. What should we do?!?!? You use him based on what the defensive weaknesses are of your opponent. Montgomery would not be cleared if he could not perform. Use either one as much as is needed to win. A second great running back being available is not a problem, Doug.

Man, good luck to the teams facing Detroit’s offense in the playoffs. They’re going to be unstoppable

I'm gonna believe that the team doctors won't let David play if he could injure himself worse. Cause you know David will want to play no matter what.

As a guitar player with lots of guitar channel feeds in my youTube, and a Lions fan (hence seeing this ivd on the feed), I was kinda excited about finding out which Strat wold be best for these killer RB's. I see neither with an SRV, maybe DMo with a Jimmy Vaughan, Gibbs with an EJ?

I worry this DMO playing is a head fake

Don't even really need Monty anymore. As much as I like him. Gibbs needs to be fully unleashed and featured.
