I have the same Strat model and I love it. What amp and effect do you use to get this tone ? It sounds great !!!
@StevenAnthonyGuitar6 ай бұрын
Thanks! Core sound is a Dr. Z Z-Wreck Jr with sometimes a King of Tone-style overdrive.

@@alainchanyuhon6004 glad I could help! 😉 The strings are Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies, tuned down to E-flat.

How do you think this compares to the vintera 2 50s? I love them both, I do find differences, but curious what other people would say. So hard to choose between both.
@StevenAnthonyGuitar2 ай бұрын
@@Martardty I haven't played the new ones, but I think that these were already good value for money and they will be cheaper now, so that might be the main consideration.

@@Martardty thanks! I used to be a strat player for the first half of my playing carreer, and these days I can no longer find my way with them. This Vintera 50s one that my wife owns, is the only one I have enjoyed playing in recent years.

@@StevenAnthonyGuitar That's not a surprise though! Some of us go through faces that a certain feel and sound and vibe better resonates. I have it mainly with seasons and I love most guitars in general hehe. But nice that you can still sometimes reach out to it if you feel like it. What are you currently playing?
@StevenAnthonyGuitar2 ай бұрын
@Martardty in 2018 I bought my first Gibson (an SG) and a little later my first Marshall, after years of playing Fender amps with my strat. Turns out that the Gibson x Marshall combination is actually the sound I always wanted to have. I mainly play Les Pauls (Standard, Special and Junior) and telecasters/Esquires these days.

Does that guitar have the vintage style small frets? Is the fingerboard laquered and sticky?
@StevenAnthonyGuitar8 ай бұрын
It is laquered, but I don't consider it sticky. Frets are not too big, radius is 7.25".
@guitarman110007 ай бұрын
I don't understand why Fender keeps using those tiny frets.

@@guitarman11000 I haven't noticed any tiny frets and I don't even have tiny hands.

@@guitarman11000 Take a look at Kingfish who plays this guitar, that dude has hands so big, and plays it with a feel you can't describe. So it's possible even with huge hands

€1000 guitar should not have to be brought to a luthier.
@StevenAnthonyGuitar3 ай бұрын
@@DotM68 a guitar that price shouldn't have certain issues that need to be fixed, but every new guitar should be brought to a luthier, whether it's cheap or expensive. Except when you're very capable to do it yourself.
