Honestly I just pick one, let's face it, Netflix, and then...ahem...watch the rest via other means as it's so easily done. You just wait a day and then the new stuff is up online at 720p or 1080p and can be streamed to your TV by such a variety of methods of hardware.

Apart from “The last of Us”, what Netflix and Amazon did with their original shows was nothing short of a disaster with source material destruction! So HBO max seems to be ahead at the moment!

Just got a subscription with HBO MAX. I think I am going to stick with it for a year. My cable provider allowed me HBO MAX because I have a HBO subscription.

This doesn't help anyone I've had all these services and looking for something that has everything updated movies shows and live TV but not wanting to buy them all because one service has some but then other services have others. I'm looking for a streaming service that has it all. It's frustrating seeing a show on a commercial and get the service then see another show on another service why can't someone make a service having it all I would pay for the streaming service but not seeing any that has it all

There simply will not be a streaming service that has it all. We're in a new era of exclusivity, so a service that "has it all" just isn't going to happen. You're likely going to have to play subscription roulette and jump around from time to time to get caught up on shows across all the different platforms.

After of course content, I also have preferences on the quality of the apps they provide. If you watch on a TV and not on a computer, the ease of use always becomes evident. I cringe when I want to use Disney or Apple. Yes Apple. You’d think they would improve and update and give us a more sophisticated app. Shame! These two suck. I also find the content is only just recently improving. Overall I think they are in desperate need of UX design. To me, Prime has the best app. I can suggest several implementations but overall, theirs is top. Netflix is the next best. Little things like your saved list being separated between movies and shows is useful, and ability to skip/rewind 10 sec should be a must. As to content HBO is king. Hope you don’t mind me chiming in.

Good video! We don't really watch a ton of original on Prime, but they do have some good series (like 1883 and 1923). I know I would definitely miss Disney+ if I wasn't catching all of the Star Wars and Marvel content they're cranking out. Most of it has been rather good, and some of it (like Andor and Wandavision) has been VERY good.

Paramount+ Has some amazing Western Series (Top Notch). Zack Snyder's REBEL MOON (3 Part movie series ... Star wars meets Dune) on Netflix. Part one premiere's December 22nd). Netflix also has amazing Historical series. The Last Kingdom and Vikings Valhalla. Picks up after the Viking Series on the History Channel. Disney and Amazon? I'll pass. Bad knock off's at best. Woke BS.

I don't believe that we have Hulu or Max in Canada. I currently subscribe to Prime, Netflix (ad-content) and Disney. I have thought of dropping Prime and Disney. My younger sister lives in a care facility and I had her on my sharing-but I don't think that she uses it much now. I do love the Star Wars and Marvel shows but is it really worth $119 plus taxes per year? I have Tubi and Plex (free) which seems to be adding more and more. All of the paid streaming services are way too expensive here in Canada.

Yeah, it's a tough call because you have 3 of the better options. Might make sense for you to just cycle through them every few months, binge shows you like, then switch to another, and so on.

Doubt you will have NHL on Max, NHL has seven year contract with ESPN that started in 2022 I believe. NHL used to have their own streaming and I miss it.

2/3 of those original series. Have failed pretty horribly. Those in the know, know which ones. Were they big and expensive to make and drew in alot of viewers at first? Of course, they were hyped. But one switched actors, and neither respect the source material. So they failed pretty epically. They keep making content that people want, but making it with "interpretations" on source material. Made by people who should just be making their own stuff, rather than butchering something that could have been amazing for fans of the known franchises. Hire fans of the franchises who know what the fans want. Not glorified activists.
