Awesome! I’m very glad that these could help even just one person out there! Thanks for the feedback!

Being someone who constantly spins the pen in my fingers, I find I spend more time trying to locate a black button on the black Lamy than using the tool bar, so prefer the HOM2 for its fine nib over my Lamy. However, I've had allot of issues with my HOM2 pen, yet have stuck with it regardless. The first issue I had was _'ghost writing'_ _[writing when the pen was inches above the screen],_ which had me tap the pen on a nearby wall to relieve it. However, in time something came loose within the sealed nib at which the ghost writing ceased, yet at around £80 I was worried that the nib might fail with the rattling so contacted Supernote who supplied me with a new nib... with which the ghost writing returned. So putting that nib aside I returned to my _'rattling nib'_ which didn't suffer from the ghost writing yet had developed a crack because of my previous tapping on a wall to relieve the ghost writing. I glued it back together but not quite straight, and perchance the glue had caught on the rattling metal sleeve within so that it never rattled again, nor did the ghost writing return to that nib. So now I had a functioning, but crooked pen... yet all was good with the world. Then around the area where I gripped the pen, the paint first _'pickled'_ then became as putty, and I could easily push it off to reveal the brass underneath. Eventually I removed the _'crooked nib'_ and threw the pen into a pot of Methylated Spirits before rubbing off the rest of the paint. Then the clip broke off which I repaired by removing the mechanism that held it in place, filled the end of the cap with superglue to fix the screw and cap securely in place. So now I have a solid, bronze, yet crooked pen *but the point of my rambling* is that... although through all this I tried other pens, I always returned to the HOM2 because in my humble opinion, it is superior to all others, with my writing being tidier and as already mentioned in this video... I too also suffer less fatigue. And as for the _'ghost writing'_ and paint issue, I've always been a person full of static, often shocked when touching metal and as yet have never heard of any other whose hand oil can strip paint from pens... so these two issues shouldn't concern the majority others considering the HOM2 Pen.

Thank you for all of that insight. That is actually very interesting. I think there was a couple times where I suffered a brief moment of ghost writing, but it never really happened again so I assumed it was a glitch, but it could still be a flaw with the pen

@@Graf-XTechReviews I have a Boox pen with a button and an eraser on the end, it has strong magnets so I used to snap it to a metal light stand for convenience sake, next to my desk, but no longer because if I do that ghosts writes too. What puzzels me is why my crooked pen nib never ghosts writes after I broke it and glued it together, because now that the sleeve no longer rattles glued in place, you'd think it would default to the ghost writing it first exhibited when new. Either way, I'm very content with my odd looking Heart of Metal 2 pen.

One of the lucky ones who doesn’t have drift issues with the standard pen 🙏🏻

Are you referring to the Heart of Metal Pen or do you actually have the Standard Pen that Supernote sells?
@RolyGuacamole26 күн бұрын
@@Graf-XTechReviews the standard pen that Supernote sells. Not the heart of metal pen.

Gotcha and is this the new Push-Up pen or the older Standard Pen?

Gotcha, yeah that’s the one I have. I have no drift issues, and I haven’t really heard of that happening with others either 🤔

I love how that heart of metal pen looks and feels! I can’t decide if I like that or the Apple Pencil better as a digital stylus
@Graf-XTechReviews4 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s fair, I like them both for different reasons. I do like how small the tip is especially on the heart of metal pen.

Thank you for the review. I especially like using gel pens on high-quality, smooth paper, with the Uniball Signo 0.38mm being my preferred choice. Given this, which pen would you recommend?
@Graf-XTechReviews4 ай бұрын
I would still go for the Heart of Metal Pen. It gives less fatigue and still has some of that smoother gel pen feel.

Do you know if supernote gonna release colour anytime soon?
@Graf-XTechReviewsАй бұрын
I wouldn’t count on it. From what it sounds like they are waiting for a better color e-ink technology to come out first

I HATE the music in the background, I don't know what you think when adding this useless stressful nonsensical music, but it git me mad at 3:39 and I had to quit the video, write you this comment and go to sleep

I’m really sorry it was that distracting for you! I hope that isn’t the case for all my videos! My newer ones use a different soundtrack so hopefully that works better and I’m still trying to find the perfect volume so that way the music is still there but not overpowering. I really do appreciate the feedback, even though it’s negative it helps me make my videos better. please try some of my newer videos and let me know if those are any better or if I still have a lot of work to do! Thanks for sharing!
