I was just this morning considering grabbing the HOM2 pen so this was very helpful and well timed. You make great videos :D

Thank you so much for your review i was fixed on getting the HOM 2 but the price was not my favourite part, i bought the original standard pen and have had it for 5 years now but i was looking for another one, thank you so much for your review, i ended up getting the push pen after watching this and it IS GREAT it feels like a real pen, my handwriting is better and i can see that my hand does not have the fatirgue which has been annoying me from the original pen. KEEP YOUR great work and thanks so much again.

Glad I found your review. I haven't seen a lot of review comparing the two pens beyond first impressions. You raised issues I hadn't even thought about like writing fatigue. I was going to go with HOM, but I think I'll go with the standard pen instead.

Glad to help! I didn’t think there was anyway the cheaper one would end up being better for me, but I guess it did! Thanks for sharing!

Hey, nice to have you back talking on the Supernote! Regarding one of our previous exchange, I managed to get the A6X2 at a fair price in Europe, Lamy pen was provided, but I got a Heart of Metal Pen 2 with the ceramic nib: because my writing is quite small, the HOMP2 was a game changer for me with its fine nib. The price is still pretty high though, so I didn't buy the standard pen, therefore no opinion here about it. Frequent calibration of the stylus is often needed, but thanks to your video, I might check the option to resolve the ghosting issue. By the way, the Ratta customer service is great, they solved some issue I had easily and quickly. If you'd like to do more vids on the Supernote, some user tips, how to organize your notes, what kind of style template you use besides provided ones, etc., it would be much appreciated here! Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! Yes I will definitely be doing more videos on the Supernote! It’s good to know that more is still wanted. And I’ll definitely be making a bunch when the A5X2 comes out! But even now I’ll be making them. That’s awesome that you’ve been able to get the Nomad at a good price where you’re at! Let me know how dialing in the non-contact writing works. I haven’t had the best experience with it but if it works well I’d like to know! Thanks again!

Well said, the combination of the HOM2 on the Supernote A5X allows me to write as small and neatly as on a fine-lined paper notepad, with the added bonus of cramming much more on each page of my A5X. As there wasn't one on my Supernote, I created then imported a tighter lined template, since then I haven't looked back.

Yeah being able to write that fine-pointed is definitely one of if not the biggest benefit of the Supernote for me!

Thanks for sharing this video - I've got the HOM2 pen and also LAMY but I still feel like I'm missing something. The LAMY pen is way too slippery with the POM tip and I'm yet to try the other tip. Your comments on the standard push pen is encouraging and I might try it down the track. I just hope they have other colours though.

You've convinced me to order the standard pen with my A5X2. _[Once I've saved my pennies]_ I've always had issues with static, and because of constant ghost writing issues the HOM2 required me to regularly tap it on a nearby lamp stand until it began to rattle within and later break... but oddly enough, once I'd glued it back together _[slightly crooked]_ I never had anymore issues with Ghost Writing! I find writing with the plastic tipped Lamy like writing on ice, very slippery.

Well I’m glad I could with that decision! It was actually your comment before that inspired me to find out how the Standard Pen would compare to the Heart of Metal Pen on this issue

Thank you for this review. I've been thinking about which one to buy from these two. Just like you I also grab the pen very low and any ridging is a minus. I did not enjoy the default pen I got when I bought the device 2 years ago, because it was not round but angled. I frankenstined a Lamy pen with the supernote nib but again ridging. Yet, the lamy writing experience is better than the default pen. Getting a round pen with no ridging is just what I’ve been searching for.

what is the thickness of the standard push up pen? I like the click style better, but It looks thick to me and I prefer a thinner writing instrument.
@Graf-XTechReviews2 ай бұрын
It’s right at 10mm thick for the main body but by the clear tip it’s a little thinner. I’d prefer it to be slightly thinner as well, but it hasn’t really bothered me yet

Do you more another company pen to suggest to use with supernote?
@Graf-XTechReviews5 күн бұрын
LAMY now has a couple styluses on the Supernote website and I think they are pretty good! Should be testing those on the channel soon. But personally I think the pen should have the ceramic nib from Supernote if you want the best feeling while writing on it. But if you want to try something else, I like the feeling of the Kindle scribe pen and the reMarkable Marker pro
