It's the Irelia here. Here are some answers to random questions in the comments. 1) Did you pick Irelia and just decide to build AP, or was it planned? Decided on it before the game even started, was going to play AP Irelia no matter what. Was going to play the game for fun. 2) What's with that build? As said above, already decided to go AP. Wits for MR and Magic Resist shred against Ryze, good with your W. Nashor's for CDR and on hit. This build is very strong early-mid game with lots of on hit and the ability to one combo most champions. Lichbane for Sheen procs. Zhonya's for Armor and active against Zed. Rylai's for Health and catch potential with ult. 3) Are you boosted? Maybe 4) Why AP Irelia? It's fun, lots of burst and on hit damage. Spikes pretty hard with Nashor's/Wit's End. It surprises people and deals all three sources of damage pretty equally (Magic, Physical, True Damage) 5) What even scales off AP on Irelia? Her E has a 0.5 AP ratio, and her ult has a 2.0 AP ratio if all 4 blades hit. Also, because I went Nashor's and Wit's End, it was an on-hit/AP Irelia build, not a full AP Irelia with Deathcap/etc. She does all three sources of damage very equally if you build her like I did, as mentioned above. Magic damage from her E/Wit's End and Nashor's Attacks/Lichbane procs, Physical damage from her base AD, Fervor, Q, and her Ult (scales off AP but does Physical damage) and True damage from her W. 6) Runes/Masteries? Runes: - 9 AS reds - 5 flat HP yellows - 4 flat armor yellows - 5 flat MR blues - 4 scaling MR blues - 3 AP quints I would suggest replacing AP quints with AS quints if you're going to build Wit's -> Nashor's. Don't really need the flat AP. Masteries: - 18-12-0 - Fury, Feast, Natural Talent, Oppressor, Battering Blows, Fervor. - Savagery, Assassin, Merciless, Dangerous Game 7) Tips? Don't play this in Ranked, it spikes hard but falls off late game. Squishy late game, you still have burst, but it's hard to get off all your auto attacks. You can duel lots of champions late game still with your combined damage, but it's hard to play in teamfights. Snowball early and you can duel anyone until about 3-4 items. If you have any questions, you can reply and I'll respond.
