I remember watching A10 in like 2021 hard stuck plat/diamond for most of the year and even into some of 2022. Now I'm actually GM. One thing that helped me is that it's impossible for you to implement EVERYTHING he says all at once. Just take 2 or 3 things he talks about and focus on those for the week. Once those become second nature, then move on to the next

That is game sense, if your focused on objectives, and winning, instead of inflating your ego. Example sometimes teabaging and taunting, is a strategy I use to tilt the other enemy players to challenge me, but at their expense by getting them out of position, or stopping them from doing their role. But if you feel like you don't care about objectives because you got diffed, that's why you need to check your ego. I've been in countless game where I had to tell my team to focus objectives not the stats, you can win being negatives easily if the other team is just kill hungry, or inflating their egos too busy trying to prove they are better. These things are game sense, not everyone have it though, but just because you didn't have don't mean your bad, we all learn differently, and this guy is like a teacher, breaking things down things for those who those who lack game sense. I noticed a lot of new gamers were born during the pandemic, So we have people that's been playing games for decades, versus people who are starting games for about a couple years or been off of games for decades, so keep that in mind.

@bigal_5585 Жыл бұрын
Probably the biggest thing for me to realize is that you don't have to be on the objective to defend it. The objective is in open space (thanks a10) so if you aren't engaged with the enemy and you are holding the objective it is wayyyyy better to hold around the objective in a favorable position. My brain would always just think "oh the objective is important so I shouldn't leave
@brandonszpot8948 Жыл бұрын
Definitely one of the worst things about low ELO is that players think “playing the objective” means standing in or directly on top of the objective. Countless games in Gold lobbies see an entire team of 5 only standing on the payload and never stepping away from it, even if it’s in a bad position.

Its enjoyable to watch dva dive and team wipe a bunch of gold-plat players who are constantly feeding, wasting cooldowns and in bad positions, but what i rlly wanted to watch more was the hard games against good team comps and dva counters, for example that dorado game where u tried to do ur best against a mei + symettra comp. @atomictacobell_6773 Жыл бұрын
Attacking team can just pick characters with high spam or burst damage and walk forward together. They just burn down the tank and move towards point easily
@ZSonnenblick Жыл бұрын
if you play at the choke on blizzard world you're also in a position where flankers can end up behind you. by holding farther back, theres no possible way for somebody to flank and catch you off guard. for one. another is the idea that to walk through open space the enemy HAS to use a cooldown. next time you're in this situation really think about how you close distance. unless youre facing toddlers, if you simply just walk through open space not near a corner you're gonna get killed pretty fast. so in order to close that distance you need to use some form or resource. as the defending team, you now have a major resource advantage as the enemy used cooldowns to close the distance and theres no reason you should have used yours. save your cooldowns for when the enemy isnt near a corner, wait for them to use a cooldown, then punish.
