I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 years ago and Monkfruit sweetener was the only substitute I could stand to use. Every other artificial sweetener tasted awful. I could always taste any hint of artificial sweetener. I only use it in my coffee because it’s so expensive, but sweet coffee is the only leftover from my pre-diabetic diet.

How about allulose? The company that is supporting me on my keto journey suggested it as the best option and most like sugar.

Never tried monk fruit, I've heard of it lots here on ( youtube) what's it taste like? Like sugar or bitter sweeter? I use erythritol atm..but has a bitter after taste.

Thanks. What is wrong with using sucralose (Splenda)? It is stated that it is safe for diabetics to use. I still use it in my coffee since it comes in convenient packets.

Do your children eat the same food? I’m not sure why but I’m hesitant to feed my little one these alternative sugars. Is that silly?

Corn contains a protein called Zein and if you are gluten intolerant, allergic, sensitive or Celiac any sweetener derived from Corn whether it's GMO or Organic should avoid those sweeteners. Erythritol is also derived from corn so be informed.
