"I love Eros flame but it is not suited for summer"....that's a statement, your question is if I ever tried it in the high heat...it opens with a tarty citrus punch but dries down sweetly... I've used it day and night time, it's versatile and can be worn all year round however there are better options...my point from the inception that it is a better choice for summer than regular Eros, since it is not as linear.

Ever heard about Thrill Man from Joop! ? Sadly the original isnt anymore produced but still there are damn good dupes out there. Beside Acqua di Gio (classic) it is one of my all times favourite. Its flowery, sweet but still masculine. If i am not in the mood of such sweetness i change to a more fresh one like Acqua di Gio. Also generally i can recommend L12.12. / Lacoste.

Thank you!! Both are fresh with a bit of sweetness to them and a dose of tonka.. On board has a different kind of feel to it since it lacks the coconut. Both are fresh and sexy, both make me smile and both are compliment getters.. But I would most likely go for Le beau and that's all because of it's coconutty sweet blend.. There are so few fragrances with coconut that smell GREAT and me loving the scent of it.. yeah. I'm going for that one. For someone who is a bit like me, loving the scent of coconut then I say try Le Beau. Otherwise try On board for a freshie with a sweet side done the Jean Paul Gaultier way😊

Jean Paul Gaultier Le beau has a very simple scent DNA: Bergamot 🍋 in the top notes, coconut 🌴🍪 in the middle notes and Tonka bean in the base notes 🥜... Apparently strong coconut 🌴🍪 notes. Davidoff Cool water intense 🌊 reminiscent of coconut aswell by the way... This fragrance blew me away! Definitely considering of blind buying JPG le beau! 🙃😃

IMO Eros isn’t a summer frag because of sweetness and strong scent. Actually, you can use it for summer because of opening citrus and mint. But it’s even not in top 10 good choices for high heat. There are many frags more suitable for summer hot days out there than Eros.

Ive been reading the EDT formula for Eros has been messed up in recent batches and people are recommending the EDP version instead. I want to get it but im not sure which to pick up in 2022 at this point. Any suggestions from anyone who has bought a bottle recently?

I dont have answer to your question, but if it helps i would go with EDP, my father had EDT, it was really good, but it was too sweet for me, especially if you want summer and fresh fragrance, so i would suggest EDP. I read a lot and they say it smells better, fresher and that performance can go up to 16 hrs, maybe even whole day which is ridiculous. But always test it first on your own skin.

I don’t consider Prada LR ocean a summer fragrance. It’s very powdery which makes it 4 season in my opinion. The name is deceptive. With that being said it’s the worst performing fragrance I’ve ever owned and ended up returning. Longevity 1-3 hours, projection 30 minutes. A better alternative is The Most Wanted EDP which gives a similar vibe and is beast mode.

Hi! Thanks for sharing! 😄👍 In my humble opinion I feel that it's not a "traditional freshie", but a fragrance that has a fresh side together with some depth to it.. But it's NOT too deep in any way.. Which makes it an exciting and different kind of blend to wear in the summer. The depth it has together with it's sweet side makes it a great choice for pretty much any season but I will definitely use it more during summer when I want something that leans away (at least a bit) from more traditional styled freshies. Performance wise it's not the strongest but on my skin it's not bad either. It's one that has brought me quite a few compliments, which means it actually performed good enough for others to get a whiff of it. But fragrances develop in different ways on different people..😄🙏 I do LOVE the most wanted (actually all the latest 3 "wanted" ones) and highly recommend them all. Such fab scents! 👌
