Thanks a lot, also I would suggest that for the first strategy. The trade can be completed only when you have 2 lines changing colors. And as soon as all 3 change, take the next position.

Kudos for the novel idea of using 3 Super trends to filter trades and I have tested this system - this is what I found Waiting for all 3 to be same colour just delays the entry but does not filter bad trades Exiting trades as soon as colours dont line up always means premature exits as the ATR 1 indicator is highly reactive to small price movements

Many viewers are amazed and I am also. The use of multiple supertrend lines is breaking the false signal at some points, for me when the price action is above the 2 lines you can make a long position and take profit (scalping method) if you need to but expect to have a ups and downs same goes to short position.

I have a strategy you can test, ichimoku cloud with 200 and 50MA. You can use the golden and death cross with 200 and 50 MA for really long term swings, and use ichimoku for intra day and also long term swings too. I use the MACD as well to filter false signals

@@craigy4630 Yes this is usually where it starts as you can see in this video. But there is also sometimes the situation that the stop can be higher (closer) when the ST was not very volatile in the last periods. There is a formula for the supertrend to find out the value of the Bands of the Indicator. www.niftytradingacademy.com/how-to-use-supertrend-indicator/ www.tradingfuel.com/supertrend-indicator-formula-and-calculation/ But just place it under or above the Band with some ticks extra space or even if you can behind a support or resistance in the closer area. If you have used 1% or less risk then you can maybe even put the stop already closer if the band is telling you. I also take half of the position when its 1:1 and then use the ST only for the other half. You also will need to learn when are the times for which markets to avoid to trade because they can generate wrong signals or how you can get in better like when a support or resitance breaks in addition.

tried backtest 3x Supertrendi have got exactly 50% win rate from June 2016 til present. on EUR/USD. it is the worst pair. but there are better % on other confiration methods. This one lags so much it tells you to go short in the middle or at the end of the trend. It performs only good in good and long trends and still it misses 100 or more pips witch oyu could get earlier. And lastly. it overclusters the chart. i dont recomend this strategy. 1. Too many lines. 2. to slow. 3 ranging markets are killing this strategy.

I didn't understand one thing, please help me. Example: I'm in a BUY position (i.e. three green SuperTrends), but after a while one of the three SuperTrends changes its color and you said this is a EXIT signal (so I would have to SELL). However, shouldn't I instead wait for three red SuperTrends to SELL? Thank you

-if youre in a BUY position , and one of the supertrend changes colour to red, you close/exit your BUY position -if all 3 lines are red, you open a SHORT/SELL position, in forex language, "SELL" doesnt mean closing a position, instead it means SHORT short/sell means profiting when the price goes down ,and losing when the price goes up, its the opposite of "BUY" hope this helps.

hey man, if you would use it for more than 15min you would know that the red or green lane is the stop loss, that's why when its crossed indicator changes side. Would test this 3x supertrend combo ;)
